Superior Fuel Cells adds to IMCA awards program in second sponsorship season

CRESWELL, Ore. – More IMCA drivers will share in post-season awards given by Superior Fuel Cells. The second-year sponsor gives $100 product certificates to sixth through 10th place finishers in national IMCA Sunoco Late Model point standings. Based out of Creswell, Ore., Superior again gives $100 product certificates to drivers finishing 6-10 in each of the five regions for IMCA Modifieds, and 22-gallon fuel cells to national Modified and Late Model rookies of the year. All Superior awards will be presented during the national banquet in November or mailed beginning the following week from the IMCA home office. Budweiser Shootout Friday at U.S. 36

OSBORN, Mo. – This Friday, June 5, is the Budweiser Shootout at U.S. 36 Raceway. The Sprint Series of Nebraska headlines the event. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars are also racing. The Sprint Series of Nebraska pays $700 to win and $250 to start. IMCA RaceSaver Sprints have heat race bonuses as well as $75 goes to each heat race winner, $50 to second and $25 to third. Pit gates open at 4 p.m. The grandstand opens at 6 p.m., with hot laps at 7:30 p.m. and racing at 8 p.m. Tickets for the event are $20 for general admission, $18 for senior and military and children 12 and younger are free. Priddy Awarded Hobby Stock Victory at Dodge City

By Sheldon Wickwar DODGE CITY, Kan. (May 31, 2025) — The Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock feature at Dodge City Raceway Park delivered plenty of action and late-race twists. Cole Schulte took the early lead despite being jostled around in tight packs, and eventually Austin Rich worked his way to the front and led to the checkered flag. However, Rich was disqualified in post-race technical inspection, and Dion Priddy was officially awarded the win — his first of the season in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region. The Lindsborg racer, Priddy, made a strong drive through the field, gaining eight positions to cap off a stellar night. Brendan Rich claimed second after advancing six spots, and Schulte crossed the line third. (Jun. 1, 2025) — Laela Eisenschenk was untouchable in the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Cars at Buffalo River Speedway, leading every lap to secure her second win of the 2025 season and first at Buffalo River this year. The 17-year-old Fargo, North Dakota driver took control at the drop of the green and built a sizable advantage before a lap three caution slowed the pace. On the restart, Eisenschenk reestablished her dominance, even as a pair of stoppages on lap seven briefly slowed momentum. Saxon Charges Late for Hobby Stock Tougher Than Dirt Tour Opener Win

(June 3, 2025) — Cash Saxon brought the crowd to their feet at McLean County Speedway, pulling off a thrilling late-race pass in the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock feature during the opening leg of the 2025 Tougher Than Dirt Tour. The 20-lap feature opened with Kaiden Tuchscherer getting the early advantage. Despite a handful of cautions in the first half, Tuchscherer — the 2022 Estevan Motor Speedway champion — controlled the pace. Suddenly, Diezel Raynard found speed on the bottom line and made a run at the lead. Raynard took over on lap 11, but Tuchscherer fought back and regained the top spot just two laps later.
