BOONE, Iowa (July 12, 2026) — Tyler Harr made the trip from Ashland, Nebraska, pay off Sunday night by leading every lap of the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature, while big charges through the field highlighted several other divisions during Boone Speedway’s Hall of Fame Weekend program.
Harr jumped to the lead from the pole and never looked back in the 20-lap Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature, putting together a flawless drive from start to finish.
The victory was Harr’s first of the season in the Razor Chassis North Central Region.
Ronn Lauritzen advanced from seventh to finish second, Chaz Baca Jr. charged from eighth to third, Trevor Fitz thrilled the crowd by racing from 27th to fourth, and Cory Sauerman completed the top five.
Pickett Powers to Stock Car Victory
Robert Stofer paced the opening 11 laps of the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature before Tyler Pickett made the winning move on lap 12 and drove away to the victory.
The Boone driver earned his first EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory of the season.
Doug Smith produced one of the night’s best drives, charging from 19th to second. Buck Schafroth climbed from 10th to third, David Smith advanced from ninth to fourth, and Bob Daniels rounded out the top five. Johnathon Logue also carved through the field from 23rd to seventh.
Clem Rallies Late in Mod Lite Main
Brandon Cox led the opening five laps before Ben George briefly took over the top spot in the Stealth Racing IMCA Mod Lite main. Riley Clem completed the winning pass on lap 11 and stayed out front through the checkered flag.
The Bakersfield, California, driver earned his ninth victory of the season and second at Boone Speedway in 2026.
Bryan Zehm and Austin Gray each advanced eight positions to finish second and third, respectively. Garrett Barber crossed the stripe fourth, while Cox rounded out the top five.
Longnecker Breaks Through in SportMods
Bradyn Gustin led the opening two laps before Hunter Longnecker powered into the lead and dominated the remainder of the Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMod feature.
The Woodward driver celebrated his first victory of the 2026 season.
Willy Kirk charged from 11th to finish second, Gustin settled for third, Brayden Shepherd was fourth, and Gage Hilgenberg completed the top five. Boddie Parker also turned in an impressive run from 19th to seventh.
Burg and Bennett Split Boone Hobby Stock Features
Keith Burg completed a perfect evening by winning both his heat race and the opening Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock feature in commanding fashion.
The Adel driver collected his second B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region victory of the season.
Joey Young advanced six positions to finish second, Will Smith gained seven spots to take third, Brandan Long was fourth, and Bentley Long charged from 14th to fifth. Matt McDonald also turned in a notable drive, improving 10 positions to finish sixth.
In the second Hobby Stock feature, Solomon Bennett grabbed the lead at the drop of the green and was never seriously challenged over the 15-lap distance.
The Minburn driver earned his second B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region victory of the season, with both wins coming at Boone Speedway.
Seth Butler finished second ahead of Braden Gifford, Eric Knutson, and Wayne Gifford, who charged from 15th to fifth. Kam Goosmann also made a strong run, advancing 12 positions to finish eighth.
Forty IMCA Hobby Stocks were on hand, requiring the field to be split into two features.
