Southern Oklahoma sets Stampede special for March 9, 10

ARDMORE, Okla. – Four IMCA divisions are on the ticket for Southern Oklahoma Speedway’s March 9 and 10 Southern Stampede special. IMCA Modifieds make their Ardmore debut, racing for $800 to win on Friday and $1,200 to win in their Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier on Saturday. Minimum start money is $100 each night. Sprint Series of Oklahoma features for IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars pay $700 to win on Friday and $750 to win on Saturday. Start money for each show is $250. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA Southern SportMods both race for $400 to win and $75 to start on Friday and $500 to win and $90 to start on Saturday. Beatrice marks milestone with 25th annual Spring Nationals

BEATRICE, Neb. – Beatrice Speedway marks a special event milestone when it hosts the 25th annual Spring Nationals on Friday and Saturday, March 9 and 10. Another $10,000 has been added to the purse again in 2018. IMCA Modifieds race for $2,500 to win and berths on the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot both nights. Each feature pays a minimum of $250 to start and all Modified drivers are guaranteed $100 a night in tow money. Big payday for IMCA Modifieds at March 3 Pahrump special

PAHRUMP, Nev. – Three thousand dollars is the winner’s share when IMCA Modifieds travel to Pahrump Valley Speedway for the Saturday, March 3 Stormin’ Mormon Memorial. The event is held in honor of Ray Wulfenstein, a long-time driver from Pahrump nicknamed the Stormin’ Mormon, who died in January of 2017. A minimum of $300 will be paid to start the 40-lap Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier. KILGORE, Texas – IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars now take the green flag at Lone Star Speedway’s Smackdown special on Saturday, March 3. The main event pays $1,200 to win and a minimum of $200 to start. Non-qualifier pay is $100, there is no entry fee and IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and IMCA State points will be awarded. Twenty-four cars will start the 25-lap feature. Champion of inaugural IMCA Lone Star Stock Car Tour earns $5K

ABILENE, Texas – They do everything big in Texas and the Lone Star IMCA Sunoco Stock Car Tour will be big. Very big. The champion of the inaugural tour, sponsored by Sniper Speed, takes home a $5,000 share of the nearly $15,000 in point fund money to be paid out following the Feb. 16-24 tour. URSS concentrates on quality, payout in 2018

OBERLIN, Kan. – The Myers Engines sponsored United Rebel Sprint Series will go into its 13th season in 2018 with a tentative schedule paying more money than any other season in the past. “We’ve tried to concentrate more on quality shows this year with most races paying a minimum of $1,000 to win,” said founder Rick Salem. Salem also said additional races are still in the works and as soon as verified will be added to the schedule. 2018 Deery Brothers Summer Series schedule marked by milestones

VINTON, Iowa – A schedule packed with milestone events sees the Deery Brothers Summer Series make its 50th visit to one race track and its first-ever to another speedplant this season. Thirteen race dates are on the calendar for the 32nd annual IMCA Late Model tour, which opens April 13 with the $5,000 to win Rebel 5K on the quarter mile oval at Davenport Speedway.
