Duel In The Desert boasts great competition, Las Vegas location

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Entertainment Capital of the World welcomes IMCA Modifieds and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods to town for the Duel In The Desert. Modifieds race for $7,777 to win, Northern SportMods for a top prize of $1,777 at the 22nd annual Duel Nov. 13-16 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Dirt Track. “The Duel continues to be one of our biggest events, with more than 300 drivers from 20-plus states and Canada at last year’s event,” noted IMCA President Brett Root. “Both the level of competition and the entertainment away from the track are tough to beat.” The Saturday night Modified feature is a 2020 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier. Marshalltown primed for 13th annual World Nationals

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – Marshalltown Speedway puts the wraps on the 2019 race season with the 13th annual World Nationals Oct. 24-26. The $10,000 special for IMCA Modifieds is a qualifying feature for the 2020 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods both race for $1,000 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $500 to win during Friday and Saturday, Oct. 25 and 26 programs. Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Racing starts at 7 p.m. both nights. Friday spectator admission is $15 for adults and $12 for seniors. On Saturday, admission is $20 for adults and $15 for seniors. Kids 10 and under get in free and pit passes are $30 both days. WACO, Texas (Oct. 21) – IMCA Modifieds chase a top check of $5,000 at Heart O’ Texas Speedway’s Oct. 24-26 Fall Classic. Saturday’s Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier pays a minimum of $300 to start. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods both race for $1,500 to win and $125 to start. Tow money is $100 for the Modifieds and $60 for both the Stocks and SportMods. Entry fees are $150 for Modifieds and $60 for Stock Cars and SportMods. Pit passes are $20 while grandstand admission for Thursday’s open practice is free. Friday pit passes are $30. Grandstand admission is $12 for adults and $10 for seniors, students and military. IMCA features pay $2,000 to win at Abilene’s 25th Ryan Bard Memorial Southern Challenge

ABILENE, Texas – Two thousand dollars is the top prize in IMCA Modified, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod features at Abilene Speedway’s Ryan Bard Memorial Southern Challenge. The 25th annual event is Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18 and 19. The Modified feature is a qualifier for the 2020 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot and pays a minimum of $300 to start. US 36 Raceway postpones Missouri IMCA Nationals to Oct. 25 and 26

OSBORN, Mo. – Due to the weekend forecast of thunderstorms and cold temperatures, US 36 Raceway officials have postponed the Missouri IMCA Nationals to Oct. 25 and 26. Drivers from all across the region have planned to make the trip for the first ever event, and US 36 officials wanted to make the decision early to allow those drivers time to adjust their plans. Many contingency plans were discussed, and US 36 Raceway officials decided this to be the best possible option to complete a successful first ever event. Friday, Oct. 25 will be a practice night for all divisions. Saturday, Oct. 26 will include heats, “B” features and main events to crown the first-ever Missouri IMCA Nationals champions. Schoknecht Shootout set this Saturday at Arlington

ARLINGTON, Minn. – B&B Racing Chassis will be host to the $5,000 to win Schoknecht Shootout for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars at Arlington Raceway on Saturday, Sept. 28.
