$5,000 is top IMCA Modified check at Heart O’ Texas Fall Classic

WACO, Texas (Oct. 21) – IMCA Modifieds chase a top check of $5,000 at Heart O’ Texas Speedway’s Oct. 24-26 Fall Classic.

Saturday’s Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier pays a minimum of $300 to start.

IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods both race for $1,500 to win and $125 to start. Tow money is $100 for the Modifieds and $60 for both the Stocks and SportMods. Entry fees are $150 for Modifieds and $60 for Stock Cars and SportMods.

Pit passes are $20 while grandstand admission for Thursday’s open practice is free.

Friday pit passes are $30. Grandstand admission is $12 for adults and $10 for seniors, students and military. On Saturday, pit passes are $35 and spectator admission is $15 for adults and $12 for seniors, students and military.

Kids ages 6-12 are $5 and five and under get in free both nights.

Dowell rallies to bag big check at Bagby Memorial

WACO, Texas (March 16) – After getting the lead back a second time, J.P. Dowell held off Justin McCoy for the $1,000 IMCA Modified feature win at Heart O’ Texas Speedway’s Jack Bagby Memo­rial. Making his first start of the season in a car borrowed from Pat McGuire, Dowell drew the pole start. Smith’s IMCA Lone Star Tour success continues with Heart O’ Texas sweep

WACO, Texas (March 8, 2023) – While the track was new, the story was the same when the Cody Smith show traveled to Heart O’ Texas Speedway for round four of the Sunoco Race Fuels Lone Star Tour presented by Sniper Speed. Smith won for the fourth time in as many $750 to win Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMod starts, then outran Jesse Sobbing to the $3,000 checkers following a late-race stoppage in the 30-lap IMCA Sunoco Stock Car headline event.  “We’ve been fortunate and gotten some pretty good draws,” acknowledged Smith, who nonetheless had to work his way to the front from seventh starting in Wednesday’s Stock Car feature. “We were excited to win this race. Early entries top 120 for IMCA All Star Shootout

ARDMORE, Okla. (May 24, 2022) – Early entries top 120 as all stars in three IMCA divisions will see action each night of the May 25-29 All Star Shootout. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Smiley’s Racing Products IMCA Southern SportMods both for $750 to win beginning with opening night Wednesday, May 25 at Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore. The Shootout is then Texas-bound for shows Thursday, May 26 at Grayson County Speedway in Bells; Friday, May 27 at Boyd Raceway; Saturday, May 28 at Kennedale Speedway Park; and Sunday, May 29 at Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Waco.
