IMCA opens loyalty bonus to all pre-registered Lone Star Tour drivers

ABILENE, Texas (Feb. 9) – Due to the upcoming cancellation of the other stock car tour scheduled the week before the Sniper Speed Lone Star Tour, IMCA will extend the $500 loyalty bonus to all IMCA Sunoco Stock Car drivers registered to compete in the Lone Star Tour by 5 p.m. CST today (Tuesday). Registered drivers who ran in January at Corpus Christi will be eligible for that bonus.

All tour races now pay those registered drivers a minimum of $1,500 to win. 

The big week of racing starts with the 24th annual Ice Breaker at Abilene Speedway on Feb. 19, followed by opening night of the fourth annual tour at Abilene. 

The winner of the Friday, Feb. 19 Stock Car feature earns $3,000 while the winner’s share of the Saturday, Feb. 20 feature will be $2,000. Increases are parts of Brett’s Birthday Bash Doubledown as we celebrate the birthday of IMCA President Brett Root with extra money to IMCA racers.

From Abilene, the Lone Star Tour travels to Heart O’ Texas Speedway on Feb. 21, Cotton Bowl Speedway on Feb. 22, Grayson County Speedway on Feb. 24, Kennedale Speedway Park on Feb. 26 and Southern Oklahoma Speedway on Feb. 27.

IMCA Stock Cars chase $5,000 to win Baby Blue Harcrow checkers at Heart O’ Texas 

WACO, Texas (June 22, 2023) – IMCA Sunoco Stock Car drivers will get an extra shot at winning more green at Heart O’ Texas Speedway’s June 30-July 1 Baby Blue Harcrow Memorial. Saturday night’s main event winner earns $5,000 and a guaranteed starting spot in the upcoming B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational. What’s new at the fourth annual special is a buy-back race to fill the final two starters in that race. Passing points earned in Friday night heats will determine starting grids for two qualifying features, with the top five finishers in each locked into the big show. Two Saturday ‘B’ races will be lined up based on Friday feature finishes and six more cars advance from each. Defending champ finds success at Grayson County

By Derrike Pennington BELLS, Texas (May 8) – Logan Scherb broke his cold streak and returned to 2020 form Saturday night, taking home his first Texas Sprint Series win of the season at Grayson County Speedway. Scherb charged to the front of the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car field after starting sixth, weaving through traffic wherever he could find an opening. Early in the race, front row starters Michael Day and Jeff Emerson thrilled fans racing wheel-to-wheel. Unfortunately, they got a little too close toward the end while chasing Scherb and brought out a late-race caution which sent Emerson to the rear.  Chance McCrary and Michelle Parson each brought home their season best finishes with McCrary holding strong up front all race and coming home in second and a plus-five charge from Parson putting her in third. Three IMCA divisions Stampede tonight, Saturday at Southern Oklahoma

ARDMORE, Okla. – While rain was the winner Thursday night in Ardmore, Southern Stampede race programs are on as scheduled tonight and Saturday at Southern Oklahoma Speedway.  IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods are on both March 18 and 19 cards. Pit gates open at 3 p.m. both days. Racing starts at 6:30 p.m. tonight and at 5 p.m. on Saturday.  Each race night program will be available on IMCA.TV, which also returns as broadcast partner for weekly race programs at Southern Oklahoma Speedway this season.
