$1,000 to win feature for IMCA Modifieds at Thunderbird

MUSKEGON, Mich. – A $1,000 top prize and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility are on the line Saturday night for IMCA Modifieds at Thunderbird Raceway.  The July 31 program is presented by JJ Motorsports. Pit gates open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 4:30 p.m., with hot laps at 5 p.m. and racing at 6:15 p.m.  Pit passes are $30 and spectator tickets will be available at the front gate. Adults are $12, seniors $10, kids ages 6-11 $5 and five and under free.

Willamette to host $5,000 to win IMCA Stock Car event on Aug. 21

By Ben Deatherage  LEBANON, Ore. – Willamette Speedway will be the place to be on Saturday, Aug. 21.  The historic 1/3-mile clay oval will be hosting a $5,000 to win IMCA Sunoco Stock Car event along with a 100-lap, $1,500 to win IMCA Modified show.  Both events will no doubt attract some top-tier talent to the Lebanon facility. The IMCA Modified 100-lapper was originally slated for July 24 but was pushed back to the August date.  The winner of the Stock Car event becomes an automatic qualifier for the B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational while the Modified winner becomes eligible to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s at Boone Speedway in September. More details regarding the payout structure and format of the Willamette show will be released as soon as possible. Hobo 40 for IMCA Stock Cars July 30 at Hancock County

BRITT, Iowa – Forty laps will be the distance and $2,000 will be the winner’s share of the Hobo 40 feature for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars on Friday, July 30 at Hancock County Speedway. The Hancock County Fair show pays a minimum of $200 to start with a $75 entry fee payable through the MyRacePass link. The winner becomes eligible to qualify for the B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational.  IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts are also on the draw/redraw card. Pit passes are $35. Spectator admission is $15 for adults and free for kids ages 12 and under. Moffitt returning to Harris Clash for 30th annual IMCA special

SPRING VALLEY, Minn. – Brett Moffitt will add to his IMCA heritage at the upcoming Harris Clash.  The 2007 Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod Clash winner, Moffitt will wheel an IMCA Modified at the 30th annual event on Aug. 3 at Deer Creek Speedway.  “I’m pretty excited about it. I’ve worked with him since he was about 13 years old,” Clash promoter Bob Harris said of Moffitt, the youngest driver to win at Knoxville Raceway, the 2015 rookie of the year in the NASCAR Cup Series and 2018 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion. “It’s pretty cool and a benefit for the Clash.”  Moffitt will pilot a Jason Snyder-owned car. Plenty of cold cash paid at IMCA Speedweek Hot Summer Nights Series

Rare weekend tripleheader on tap for PASS

By Frank Buhrman POTTSVILLE, Pa. – The Pennsylvania Sprint Series will run a rare tripleheader this weekend, with three races on the schedule, including stops at the series’ oldest track and its newest.  On Friday night, PASS will join the Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series for a co-sanctioned event at Big Diamond Speedway. On Saturday, the IMCA RaceSaver Sprinters will visit the quarter-mile Path Valley Speedway bullring, now in its 22nd season of hosting PASS racing. Then on Sunday, the new Bloomsburg Fair Raceway will host the PASS and MASS sprinters for the first time ever.  At Big Diamond, pit gates will open at 5 p.m. and grandstands at 5:30, with warm-ups starting at 7:15 and racing at 7:45. Adult admission is $22 ($20 for seniors; kids under 16 and active duty military with ID free). IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win at Park Jeff’s Monday Night Mayhem

JEFFERSON, S.D. – A Monday Night Mayhem event comes to Park Jefferson Speedway on July 26 as the race track hosts an IMCA Modified Fast Shafts All-Star eligibility qualifying event paying $1,000 to win.  Drivers will be coming from around the area to tackle some of the best competition to make themselves eligible for qualifying during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Norman County, Red River Valley host $800 to win Sanders IMCA Stock Car Challenge features

ADA, Minn. – Sanders Stock Car Challenge winners will be living high on the hog July 29 at Norman County Raceway and July 30 at Red River Valley Speedway. IMCA Sunoco Stock Car features Thursday at Ada, Minn., and Friday at West Fargo, N.D., both pay $800 to win and a minimum of $120 to start. United Rebel Sprint Series hosts Missouri doubleheader

OSBORN, Mo. – The POWRi Drive to Zero United Rebel Sprint Series Presented by Mel Hambelton Ford Racing has two Missouri events on the schedule Friday, July 23 and Saturday, July 24.  Both races will pay $1,000 to win with $200 to start the “A” features. On Friday, July 23, competition will take place atop the 3/8-mile high banked resurfaced facility of US 36 Raceway in Osborn. The enhancements on the track have given fans and drivers excitement, with close, action-packed racing.
