Sixth annual Sheen Memorial July 3, 4 at Cardinal Speedway

EUNICE, N.M. – Four IMCA divisions are featured at Cardinal Speedway’s sixth annual Kelly Sheen Memorial Topless Shootout on Friday and Saturday, July 3-4. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $2,000 to win, Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds for $1,200, Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center SportMods for $1,000 and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $750. The Modified feature is a 2015 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying event. Modified and Southern SportMod drivers must remove all body panels above the deck, including the roof, sail panels and pillar posts. IMCA Speed­way Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded to Modified, Stock Car and Hobby Stock drivers; Southern SportMod drivers race for national and state points. Deery drivers make rare visit to Kossuth County for July 2 show

ALGONA, Iowa – The Deery Brothers Summer Series makes an early holiday weekend visit to Kossuth County Speedway for a Thursday, July 2 show. The eighth of 18 events on the 2015 IMCA Late Model tour schedule pays $3,000 to win and a minimum of $300 to start. Darrel DeFrance of Marshalltown has competed at all 441 events in Deery Series history and was the winner back on July 31, 2008, when the tour made its one previous appearance at Algona. Bakersfield hosts June 27 McGowan Memorial for IMCA Modifieds 

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Top prize is $1,000 when Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds square off at Bakersfield Speedway for the Saturday, June 27 Richie McGowan Memorial. A spot on the ballot for the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational and all applicable IMCA points are at stake as well. Also on the card are Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods, hobby stocks and American stocks. A fireworks extravaganza follows the action on the track. Pit gates open at 2 p.m., the grandstand opens at 4 p.m. and racing starts at 6 p.m. General admission is $18 for adults, $16 for seniors and military, $8 for kids ages 6-12 and free for five and under. SportMod Blitz Wednesday, Thursday at Norman County

ADA, Minn. – Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods race for $675 to win and a minimum of $60 to start both nights of Norman County Raceway’s Wednesday and Thursday, June 24 and 25 SportMod Blitz. One hundred dollar hard charger, long tow and Performance Auto Tuff Luck awards will be given. Early registration, pit parking applications are recommended for 33rd Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa – The IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s continues to be the biggest and best event in all of dirt track racing. So does the need to pre-register and make arrangements for pit parking if you’re planning to be part of the 33rd annual event Sept. 7-12 at Boone Speedway “We highly recommend that drivers do both as soon as possible,” IMCA President Brett Root emphasized. “Car numbers are assigned on a first come, first served basis and drivers will save money by pre-registering.” “Pit area parking is probably the biggest issue we get into this far ahead of Super Nationals,” he continued. “We are working on a schedule for when haulers will be allowed in the pits. Greater Grand Forks Fair has two dates for IMCA Modifieds 

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Two events for Xtreme Mo­tor Sports IMCA Modifieds are on Greater Grand Forks Fair race programs. Both Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27 features at River Cities Speedway pay $500 to win and a minimum of $70 to start. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Belleville Motorsports North Central Region and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded each night. Tow money is $25. Pit gates open at 4 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. Racing on the 1/3-mile clay oval starts at 7 p.m. Grandstand admission during the fair is $5. Pit passes are $25. Northern SportMod Nationals at Britt boasts possible $4,000 payday 

BRITT, Iowa – Winning the Tuesday, June 23 MaxY­ield Seed Northern SportMod Nationals at Hancock County Speedway could be worth as much as $4,000. The main event for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods pays a minimum of $2,500 to win. Five hun­dred dollar bonuses will be paid if the first-place driver is a previous event winner; has raced at least three times previ­ously this season at Britt; and has won a regular sea­son feature there this year. FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. – 141 Speedway rolls out the red carpet for one of the top paying Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified events of the season on Wednesday and Thursday, June 24 and 25, sending the winner home with a check for $10,000.
