Super Nationals Auction Adds to Championship Night Haul

BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 16, 2026) — After the final championship features were decided at the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s, the annual auction in the NAPA Auto Parts Fan Zone added another chapter to Championship Saturday at Boone Speedway.

Engines and chassis went across the auction block, generating additional money for competitors following America’s Racin’ Vacation.

For two of the week’s champions, the auction added considerably to what they had already earned on the racetrack.

Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified champion Kollin Hibdon earned $10,000 for his Big Dance victory and received a new Harris Auto Racing Modified chassis. Hibdon elected to put the chassis up for auction, where it brought $13,500, giving him $23,500 between his championship purse and chassis proceeds before contingency awards and other prizes were figured in.

Sunoco IMCA Stock Car champion Jake McBirnie earned $8,000 for his championship victory and received a new Terminator Stock Car chassis. McBirnie also elected to auction his chassis, which brought $14,500, putting his championship purse and chassis proceeds at $22,500 before contingency awards and other prizes.

The engine auction also added directly to the championship-night winnings of drivers finishing behind the four champions.

The Modified engine brought $8,500, with finishers second through 33rd receiving an additional $265.63 apiece.

The Stock Car engine sold for $11,000, adding $379.31 to the winnings of each driver finishing second through 30th.

The Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMod engine also brought $11,000, with positions second through 30th receiving another $379.31 apiece, while the $8,000 Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock engine added $275.86 to the winnings of each driver finishing second through 30th.

In all, the four engine auctions generated $38,500 in additional money for championship competitors.

Hibdon captured the Modified championship, while McBirnie took home the Stock Car crown. Dylan Van Wyk earned $5,000 for winning the SportMod Big Dance, and Will Smith collected $3,000 for his Hobby Stock championship.

The Harris and Terminator chassis combined to bring $28,000, and when combined with the four engines, the six items generated $66,000 at auction.

B & B All-Star eligible list adds a dozen drivers

VINTON, Iowa (May 31, 2024) – Add a dozen IMCA Sunoco Stock Car drivers to the list of those eligible to qualify for the upcoming B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational. Ricky Thornton Jr. earned a guaranteed start on the grid for that race with his win at Clay County Fair Speedway’s Quarter Million Dollar Challenge. Kyle Clough scored big at Lincoln County’s NASCAR Night show and Casey Woken topped Dawson County Raceway’s Governor’s Cup show. Monday Madness checkers at Independence flew for Tom Schmitt. Kyle Frederick was first across the stripe in the Too Tough To Tame race at Shawano Speedway and Hancock County Speedway Spring Fling honors belonged to Troy Swearingen. Luke Lemmens led the way to victory lane in 141 Speedway’s Nathan Bouche Memorial. Paul White won the All Star Shootout finale at Heart O’ Texas Speedway. Opening night Frostbuster entries total 173, Grabouski makes right moves for $1,000 win

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa (April 5) – Jordan Grabouski paused during his post-race interview to wave to a fan who’d driven all the way from Beatrice to watch him win Friday’s Frostbuster feature for IMCA Modifieds at Marshalltown Speedway. $30,000 Awaits Race for Hope 71 Winner at Batesville

(Sept. 17, 2026) — One of the richest Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified events of the entire season returns to Batesville Motor Speedway Sept. 30-Oct. 3 with First Community Bank’s 10th annual Race for Hope 71 presented by IMCA TV. The four-day event culminates with a 71-lap championship feature paying $30,000 to win, while a deep purse will reward competitors throughout the field. The runner-up will earn $12,500, with $11,500 going to third, $11,250 to fourth, and $11,000 to fifth. Sixth through ninth pay $10,800, $10,600, $10,400, and $10,200, respectively, while the 10th-place finisher will still collect $10,000. The payout continues with $6,000 for 11th and $3,000 for 12th. Positions 13th through 17th pay $2,000, $1,900, $1,800, $1,700, and $1,600, respectively, with every starter finishing 18th through 30th earning $1,500.
