Ritchie records first Shawano IMCA Modified win

SHAWANO, Wis. (Aug. 18) – Justin Ritchie has won a number of features at Shawano Speedway, but the former late model track champion scored his first IMCA Modified feature Saturday night.

Cautions plagued the start of the event, but once the race got going Tim Rothe took the lead. Ritchie pursued Rothe until lap three when he made an inside pass to take the lead.

As Ritchie led, the action was hot and heavy behind him as Jason Czarapata, Lance Arneson and Wyatt Block all came from deep in the field to battle for second and third. In the end it was Ritchie making his way to victory lane followed by Czarapata, Block, Arneson and Konnor Wilinski.

Mitch Stankowski returned to victory lane after some time away from the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car division. Lucas Lamberies raced to his seventh local Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod victory of the year ahead of Tyler Sobiesczyk, who finished a career-best second.

Nolan tops IMCA Stocks, Teske scores SportMod win at Shawano

By Brandon Reichenberger SHAWANO, Wis. (July 1, 2023) – Mother Nature provided a beautiful night for racing at the legendary half mile on Tribute to Veterans night at Shawano Speedway. Tribute to Veterans is always a special night as the track honors our American heroes and 140 veterans were on hand for a special recognition and tribute at intermission organized by Mike’s Video, Trev’s Trailers and B&H Racing. Trent Nolan, Jeffery Teske and Jordan Bartz all left with bragging rights and a special Veterans Night trophy, as all three recorded a clean sweep on the evening winning both their heat and feature races. Dylan Sexton and Shawn Wagner led the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car field to green flag for a 20-lap feature. Wagner led early but had plenty of company from Dylan Stedje and Nolan, both of whom drove past on lap two. Shawano Hall of Fame welcomes two more

By Dave Buss SHAWANO, Wis. (June 19) – Last week it was the future in the spotlight, this week it was the past as two new members were inducted into the Hall of Fame at Shawano Speedway. George Giesen and Ed Bertram were honored for their past accomplishments at the speedway and in racing. With friends and family along with numerous current and former drivers who have benefited from the new Hall of Famers’ contributions to the racing world in attendance, the two were honored in a ceremony at intermission. IMCA Modifieds hit the track with numerous drivers who got their start in go carts at the GSR Raceway run by Bertram. (Jan. 29, 2026) — Belle Plaine, Iowa’s Dylan Thornton added another chapter to his dominant Winter Nationals run with a hard-fought victory in the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature during the sixth night of the DeVilbiss Racing Chassis IMCA TV Winter Nationals powered by Pitt Stop Motorsports and Dynamic Drivelines at Central Arizona Raceway. The former Santa Maria, California, resident earned his fourth win of the 2026 event, his fourth victory of the year in the DeVilbiss Racing Chassis Western Region, and his sixth career Winter Nationals Modified triumph. Braaksma Holds On for Night Five Modified Victory at IMCA TV Winter Nationals in Casa Grande

(Jan. 28, 2026) — Ethan Braaksma from Newton, Iowa, captured his fourth career IMCA Modified Winter Nationals series victory with a hard-fought win in the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature during the fifth night of the DeVilbiss Racing Chassis IMCA TV Winter Nationals powered by Pitt Stop Motorsports and Dynamic Drivelines at Central Arizona Raceway. IMCA TV Clash On The Coast Returns Bigger Than Ever for 2026

By Ben Deatherage VINTON, Iowa (Jan. 26, 2026) — The 4th Annual IMCA TV Clash On The Coast is set to return February 21–28, 2026, featuring four nights of racing at two premier Gulf Coast dirt tracks with expanded racer amenities and one of the most unique offseason experiences in IMCA competition. It will feature three Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly divisions including the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds, Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, and Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods. The 2026 Clash On The Coast will be split between Northwest Florida Speedway in Baker, Fla., and Deep South Speedway in Loxley, Ala., continuing the successful dual-venue format that has defined the event’s rapid growth.
