Block provides IMCA Modified fireworks at Outagamie

SEYMOUR, Wis. (July 1, 2022) – The Fourth of July weekend kicked off with 180 cars filling the pits at Outagamie Speedway. Each of the drivers wanted to avoid fireworks on the track and enjoy them from victory lane after the races.

The Friesen Performance IMCA Modified feature kicked off with Jason Hyerdall and then Dan Roedl in front.  Wyatt Block wasted no time moving into position to challenge as he moved inside Hyerdall to secure second.

Block continued to work the groove inside Roedl and fought side-by-side with the leader for multiple laps as Mike Mullen steadily worked the high side into fourth place. At halfway, Roedl led Block, Cody Schroeder, and Mike Mullen.

A lap 12 restart saw Block slice past Roedl into the top spot and try to open a gap on the field.  The closing laps saw Mullen put on a clinic on running the high side in turns one and two as he tickled the wall up top with every lap.

When the checkers flew Mullen closed the gap on Block but ran out of time to mount a challenge to pass for the lead. Roedl finished third.

Chase Parker parked in victory lane following the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature and Jake Carpenter paced the Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods. Matt Brehmer collected the Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compact checkers.
