Quick times add to Texas 305 RaceSaver Sprint Nationals pay

MESQUITE, Texas (March 22, 2022) – Being quick pays off even more during the upcoming Texas 305 RaceSaver Sprint Nationals.

The Friday, March 25 main event for IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite pays $1,000 to win and a minimum of $200 to start while the Saturday, March 26 headliner pays $2,000 to win and a minimum of $500 to start.

Gates open Thursday at 3 p.m. and tech starts at 4 p.m. with an open practice to follow from 6-9 p.m. Newly announced Smiley’s quick time awards of $1,000, $500 and $250 will be paid that evening. Pit passes are $15 while grandstand admission is free. 

Non-qualifier pay is $50 on Friday and $100 on Saturday. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and KMJ Performance State points will be awarded both nights. Pit gates open at noon, the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. 

Spectator admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors ages 60 and over, military with ID and students ages 12-15, and free for kids ages 12 and under. Reserved seats are an additional $5. Pit passes are $35.

Round 10: Gould survives, advances and wins Dirt Dominator at Devil’s Bowl

By Mike Spieker MESQUITE, Texas (May 29) – William Gould was down to his final strike on two occasions Tues­day night at Devils Bowl Speedway for the 10th round of the IMCA Dirt Dominator. Gould came from behind in three of the four rounds before claiming the $1,000 payday and punch­ing his ticket to the $10,000-to-win Dirt Dominator at Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Waco, Texas on Oct. 25. After defeating John Freeman in the Sweet 16, Gould had his hands full with Chris Elliott in the Elite Eight. Elliott led Gould by three car lengths after the white flag flew on the two and a half lap dash. Row six start an advantage for Rogers in IMCA Lone Star Tour victory at Devil’s Bowl

MESQUITE, Texas (Feb. 21, 2022) – He was starting in row six but Jason Rogers knew he had an advantage over the 10 drivers lined up in front of him for Monday’s Sniper Speed IMCA Lone Star Stock Car Tour headliner at Devil’s Bowl Speedway. “Looking at the cars ahead of me, they hadn’t seen how the track had changed,” explained Rogers, who followed his ‘B’ feature win with the $1,000 main event checkers on night two of the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car Tour. “There were a lot of heavy hitters up there but right then I thought I had a shot at it.” Blake Clark was fastest early on, with Jesse Sobbing, G.W.
