ARLINGTON, Minn. (Aug. 29) – Last-lap drama played out in the Saturday night feature Mach-1 Sport Compacts at Arlington Raceway.

Matthew Spiess had taken the early lead and stayed in front until after the white flag was dis­played. R.J. Esqueda started 10th and worked his way up to second places with his sights on Spiess. 

Esqueda made the late pass for the checkers. Justin Dose followed Esqueda and ended in se­cond. 

Winner of the green-to-checkered IMCA Modified feature was Dan Menk while Justin Allen aced the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car headliner and Matt Speckman paced the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature. 

Cory Probst raced from 11th starting to win the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock feature and Kris Zuhlsdorf made the most of back-to-back cautions early on to win the Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod main event.

Serbus sprints to series win at Arlington

ARLINGTON, Minn. (May 27, 2023) – The Toppers and Trailers Plus Minnesota IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car Series kicked off and once again Trevor Serbus wheeled his car around the car to win Saturday at Arlington Raceway. Mike Stien tried to stick with the leader but wasn’t able to gain on him. Brandon Allen was running a strong third but Matt Johnson was able to get under him and take his spot, then Brett Allen and Brandon Allen were exchanging positions for the following laps with Brett coming out in fourth and Brandon in fifth. Brett Allen also won the RockStar Hard Charger of the Night award and an extra $100 from Schultz Custom Woodcrafters. MORTON, Minn. (March 9, 2022) – More than 300 people attended the 2021 Arlington Raceway awards banquet March 5 at Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel. Luinenburg gets 100th Hobby Stock win at Arlington’s season championship night

READING, Minn. – Justin Luinenburg would have liked to have gotten his career 100th IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock feature win before his final race of the season, but he’s happy things worked out the way they did. Luinenburg collected the landmark checkers Saturday at Arlington Raceway, when the Sept. 23 season championship program doubled as a night to honor the late Scott Schoknecht. “It was nice to get my 100th win on that night,” said Luinenburg, from Reading, Minn. “I knew Scotty pretty good so it was special to win at his memorial race.” The victory was Luinenburg’s 23rd of the season and 71st in the last three years.
