Sport Compacts added to Sept. 5 Prelude at Boone

BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 28, 2023) – As if two features for every division with 100 or more entries wasn’t exciting enough, a mulligan draw will add to purses paid for Modified, Stock Car, Northern SportMod, Hobby Stock and Sport Compact features at the Sept. 2-3 Wild Rose Casino Double Down Prelude at Boone Speedway. There is no entry fee for those divisions. If they wish, drivers in any of those five divisions can pay $20 before drawing their first pill; if they’re not satisfied with that number they can draw a second time and must keep that pill. Money generated by the mulligan draw will be added to that division’s purse for the night. BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 11) – A straight forward strategy sent Dallon Murty straight into the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s record book.  Get to the front and stay there.  The 16-year, eight-month old nicknamed ‘The Game Changer’ led the last 19 laps in winning Saturday’s Stock Car main event at Boone Speedway, becoming the youngest champion – by two months – crowned in the storied history of America’s Racin’ Vacation. A record 222 Stock Cars vied at the 39th annual event. Murty earned $5,000 for the win.  “Winning Super Nationals means a lot, so much that I can barely put it into words. BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 9, 2023) – Tim Ward’s run to the Modified championship at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s was even more spectacular than the fireworks displays that preceded and followed it. The Arizona native and Iowa transplant led the last half of Saturday’s 40-lap finale at Boone Speedway, ultimately outdistancing 2021 champion Cody Laney to earn his first title and $10,000.
