ARLINGTON, Minn. (Aug. 1) – After making his move on the 10th time around the track, Eric Bas­sett made his first trip this season to victory lane at Arlington Raceway.

Bassett caught Tim Bergerson for the lead in the Saturday night main event for Karl Kustoms North­ern SportMods and led to the checkers. Vince Corbin completed a late drive to second.

Dalton Magers led the IMCA Modified feature from start to finish. Clint Hatlestad was able to get around Josh Ruby following a restart but could not catch Magers and settled for second.

After working his way steadily to the front of the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car field, Bill Johnson had the lead when lap nine was scored and set sail the rest of the way. Dan Mackenthun caught pole starter Jeff McCollum and won the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature.

Once again, Cory Probst had the car to beat in the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock feature as he took the front spot on the second lap and was chased across the stripe by Matt Olsen.

Rookie Brett McConnell from Henderson found victory lane again in the Mach-1 Sport Compacts.

RaceSaver win is first for rookie Snow

ARLINGTON, Minn. (July 1, 2023) – A driver from Princeton was king of the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars Saturday night at Arlington Raceway. Jeremy Snow won his first career feature in the winged class, leading the distance in a 15-lap feature that ran green to checkered. “It felt fantastic,” said Snow, an IMCA rookie at 48 and winner in his 14th night out. “We have taken some lumps this season (rebuilding the car in late May) so it was a great feeling to get this win. Porter parks in victory lane at Arlington

ARLINGTON, Minn. (June 8) – Chad Porter put his no. 12 MN 93 IMCA Modified in victory lane at Ar­lington Raceway for the first time since May 13 of 2017 Saturday night. Porter took the lead on the first lap after a caution that moved him up a row on the restart. When the green flag came back out, he passed three cars going into the first turn to take the lead. He remained the leader for the rest of the race with Trent Loverude directly behind him taking second ahead of Clint Hatlestad. Javen Ostermann won his first Alpha Media IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car feature, leading the en­tire caution-free race from start to finish.
