BETHANY, Mo. – Again, a great car count filed into the pit area at Bethany Speedway Saturday night and fans were treated to an unpredictable and exciting night of racing.

Jacob Blair took the point at the drop of the green in the IMCA Modified feature over Dustin Miller. They battled until a yellow came out. Steven Bowers Jr. has been on absolute tear the last few weeks and on the restart drove around both into the lead.

Shayne Bailey followed Bowers to the front but couldn’t deny Bowers another win.

Sixteen IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars lined up for their feature which came to an early halt when Carson Masoner went for a ride and rolled in turn two. Anthony Whitham led for a couple laps until Thomas Roberts took control.

Mich Ross worked high and low but could never clear Roberts. Steve Starmer saw all that in front of him and found his line. He drove around both on the outside and to the lead. Danny Holt put himself in contention but at the checkered nobody had anything for Starmer as he picked up his second straight feature win.

J.R. Topper led all the laps of a green to checkered race to pick up his first IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car win at Bethany.

The Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod feature was another caution-free race. Chris Wright and Tim Eaton shot to the front and spent the entire race with Wright in front and Eaton within a single car length and sometimes poking his nose to the inside.

Koby Rigsby was up and down as he was nearly side-by-side for second at one time to only be shuffled back to sixth and then start gaining again. Heading into turn three on the final lap, Eaton drove to the inside with a lapped car outside of the leader; Wright was the meat in the sandwich. Contact was made between the three and Wright ended up with a right front flat. Eaton picked up his first win at Bethany this year with Wright second.

This Saturday will be the second Saturday of three straight with racing at Bethany Speedway.
