OSBORN, Mo. (June 15) – Casey Burnett proved the fastest of 20 entries in Friday’s Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod feature at US 36 Raceway.

Burnett battled side-by-side with Matt lent for the front spot before edging ahead. Lent ended at the runner-up and third was Chris Wright.

Chad Clancy picked up his second local IMCA Modified win of the season, holding off Shadren Turner for the checkers.

Brad Whitney led every lap of the caution-free IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature and Ty­ler Drueke topped the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car main event.

Team Raffurty stars in Hicks Memorial

By Rick Staley OSBORN, Mo. (May 26, 2023) – Stealth Racing IMCA STARS Mod Lites would kick off the Wayne Hicks Memorial in style, going caution free in their Friday feature at US 36 Raceway. James Beebe took the lead and paced the field with Jeff Raffurty in pursuit challenging and every lap. Jeff Raffurty finally took the lead bringing Michael Raffurty and Justin Raffurty to the front as well. As these three battled for the top spot, Dillon Raffurty started his charge from deep in the field. Dillon Raffurty would overtake Jeff Raffurty and move to the lead, never relinquishing and claiming the victory. Jeff Raffurty would place a fast second with Justin Raffurty third. Fourth belonged to Michael Raffurty. Friday’s race program was delayed for two hours to make repairs to the catch fence in turn two following a pure stock heat race crash.

Bowers dominates at inaugural Missouri IMCA Nationals

(Oct. 26) – A full pit area checked in for the first ever Missouri IMCA Nationals at US 36 Raceway.  The IMCA Modified main saw Jesse Dennis and Kyle Olberding battle for the lead early. Quickly though, Steven Bowers Jr. and Chad Clancy moved by and started battling for the lead. For the first half of the race, the two searched the track for a line and while doing so swapped the lead several times.  After halfway, Bowers found the right line and dominated the rest of the way, picking up the first-ever Missouri IMCA Nationals Modified win and the big trophy in Westfall GMC Victory Lane. The victory was good for $1,200; Bowers was already on the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. Clancy finished second while Shayne Bailey started 16th and drove through the field for a third-place finish. Kids’ Night tonight at US 36 Raceway

By Rick Staley  OSBORN, Mo. (Aug. 6) – More than $1,000 in change will be dropped on the front stretch of US 36 Raceway for kids to grab tonight (Friday). Bring out the entire family for a night of fun and racing excitement like no other with free loaded backpacks to get the kids ready for back to school.  Always Family First is the theme at US 36 Raceway with fans donating school supplies and Jon and Beth Boller donating the backpacks. Thanks to Matthew and Maggie at X Factor Motorsports, Section B at Lakeside Speedway, fans, TC Fabrication and Repair, Slow Kid Motorsports, Judy Staley Photography and others who donated.  IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods are on tonight’s race program.
