US 36 Raceway will reschedule Modified Madness

OSBORN, Mo. – Due to overnight rain and more forecasted thunderstorms, US 36 Raceway officials have made the decision to cancel racing for Friday, May 24. Modified Madness will be rescheduled and the new date will be set in the upcoming week.

Due to the many rainouts and rescheduled events the track has seen early in the season, US 36 Raceway officials will be making a few adjustments to the 2019 schedule in order give each class enough opportunity to race at the high banks. Those adjustments will also be made available in the upcoming week.

Baumli up to challenge at Doyle Lance Remembrance Race

By Jacob Blair  OSBORN, Mo. (June 26) – When the big money is on the line, it is historically J.J. Baumli al­ways challenging to run away with the winner’s check. However, for the Doyle Lance Remem­brance Race for the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, it looked as though Mich Ross and Connor Ma­soner would be the one’s battling for the trophy.  Ross led more than half of the 20-lap feature, with Masoner in his tire tracks. With a few laps to go, Masoner got a run on Ross and the two made contact. Both drivers left the track with flat tires and Baumli inherited the lead and the eventual win. Chad Clancy, making his first appearance in a Stock Car this season, finished in the second posi­tion. US 36 extends deadline for IMCA Missouri Nationals early entry

OSBORN, Mo. (Sept. 26, 2022) – Drivers will have until midnight tonight (Monday) to pre-enter for this weekend’s IMCA Missouri Nationals at US 36 Raceway.  IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMod drivers can go to MyRacePass to pay that $40 fee. Entry for all three divisions is $50 after midnight or at the gate. RaceSaver Sprint Cars race for $2,000 to win and a minimum of $200 to start, Stock Cars for $2,000 to win, B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility and a minimum of $125 to start, and Northern SportMods for $1,500 to win and a minimum of $100 to start on Oct. 1 at Osborn. Payouts are based on full fields of 24 cars. Hobby Stocks can run with local pure stocks. Total payout for the fourth annual Missouri Nationals, to be broadcast by IMCA.TV, is $55,000. US 36 Modified win goes to Clancy

(April 19) – IMCA Modifieds provided one of the best races of the night Friday at US 36 Raceway, with Chad Clancy leading the way in a green, white, checkered finish.  Brandon Williams had led the first 15 laps of the feature with Clancy draped all over the inside corner panel of his machine for most of that run. While those two battled, Steven Bowers Jr. closed in and made it a three-car battle.  The front three were primed for a battle to the end when the first caution of the race flew at lap 15. Clancy chose the inside lane on the Delaware double file restart. Bowers got the top and, on the restart, found the grip, shot around Clancy and crossed to the inside of Williams. He cleared for the lead in turn three as Williams slipped up allowing Clancy into second.
