OSBORN, Mo. – Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and racing starts at 8 p.m. Friday night, Aug. 24, when US 36 Raceway hosts the second annual Wayne Hicks Memorial Shootout for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods.
In addition to an increased purse, Northern SportMod drivers are in the running for drawing prizes.
It’s also championship night for IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars at Osborn.
OSBORN, Mo. – US 36 Raceway is set to open the season this Friday, April 5 with the start of the season championship chase. Four sanctioned divisions will begin championship battles. Opening night will feature the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods. U.S. 36 has used the offseason to make numerous improvements to the race track. This season U.S. 36 will use transponders to score each race, while also making live timing and scoring available to race fans and crews via the MyRacePass app. Pit gates open at 5 p.m. on Friday, with the grandstand gates opening at 6 p.m. Hot laps begin at 7:30 p.m. and racing will start at 8 p.m. Pit passes for the event are $35. OSBORN, Mo. – The POWRi Drive to Zero United Rebel Sprint Series Presented by Mel Hambelton Ford Racing has two Missouri events on the schedule Friday, July 23 and Saturday, July 24. Both races will pay $1,000 to win with $200 to start the “A” features. On Friday, July 23, competition will take place atop the 3/8-mile high banked resurfaced facility of US 36 Raceway in Osborn. The enhancements on the track have given fans and drivers excitement, with close, action-packed racing. Hot laps are slated to begin at 7:30 p.m. with racing at 8 p.m. The United Rebel Sprint Series last visited US 36 Raceway in June for its first appearance in URSS history. OSBORN, Mo. (Sept. 26, 2022) – Drivers will have until midnight tonight (Monday) to pre-enter for this weekend’s IMCA Missouri Nationals at US 36 Raceway. IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMod drivers can go to MyRacePass to pay that $40 fee. Entry for all three divisions is $50 after midnight or at the gate. RaceSaver Sprint Cars race for $2,000 to win and a minimum of $200 to start, Stock Cars for $2,000 to win, B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility and a minimum of $125 to start, and Northern SportMods for $1,500 to win and a minimum of $100 to start on Oct. 1 at Osborn.
