CARB Night Friday at US 36 Raceway

OSBORN, Mo. (May 20, 2022) – Racing returns to US 36 Raceway Friday, May 20 with six IMCA divisions seeing action on the high banks. 

Adding to the excitement it is CARB Night with all Central Auto Racing Booster members getting in free to the grandstands by presenting their CARB membership card at the grandstand gate. 

Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA STARS Mod Lites, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern Sport Mods and Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts all vie for that checkered flag and first-place trophy. 

Pit passes are $35.

In addition to free grandstand admission for CARB members displaying membership cards, spectator admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 65 and older and active military and veterans, $5 for kids ages 7-12 $5 and kids ages six and under are free.

Pit gates open at 5 p.m. The grandstand opens at 6 p.m., the drivers’ meeting is at 7 p.m., hot laps are at 7:15 p.m. with racing to follow.

Rain forces cancellation of Championship Night at US 36 Raceway

OSBORN, Mo. – Due to overnight thunderstorms and more forecasted rain later tonight, US 36 Raceway officials have decided to cancel racing for Aug. 16.  This will conclude the championship chase for the season as US 36 will focus on the remaining specials scheduled for 2019. US 36 Raceway has two big post-season events planned as the Sprint Series of Nebraska joins the Saturday Sep. 28 show. Then on Oct. 9-12, it is the inaugural IMCA Missouri Nationals. Details are being finalized for the two events and more information will be released soon.

Most is too much for IMCA Modified Blowout foes at US 36

(Aug. 2) – Every division had an increased payout on the line Friday at US 36 Raceway, but the IMCA Modifieds had the most to fight for with a $1,500 check going home with Josh Most, winner of the Modified Blowout presented by Lent Prints.  Clay Hale and Steven Bowers started the race from the front row for the 25-lap race, with Bowers taking the advantage into the opening corner. While Bowers paced the race early, Most began working his way from eighth starting. Most moved through the field by running alternate lines from the rest of the field. Most had moved to third before the yellow flew on lap seven. On the restart, Most advanced to second while Chad Clancy moved into the picture as he took third, after starting 11th. A few laps after the restart, Most and Bowers made contact in turn one. Most let Bowers collect himself before making another attempt at taking the lead away. US 36 extends deadline for IMCA Missouri Nationals early entry

OSBORN, Mo. (Sept. 26, 2022) – Drivers will have until midnight tonight (Monday) to pre-enter for this weekend’s IMCA Missouri Nationals at US 36 Raceway.  IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMod drivers can go to MyRacePass to pay that $40 fee. Entry for all three divisions is $50 after midnight or at the gate. RaceSaver Sprint Cars race for $2,000 to win and a minimum of $200 to start, Stock Cars for $2,000 to win, B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility and a minimum of $125 to start, and Northern SportMods for $1,500 to win and a minimum of $100 to start on Oct. 1 at Osborn. Payouts are based on full fields of 24 cars. Hobby Stocks can run with local pure stocks. Total payout for the fourth annual Missouri Nationals, to be broadcast by IMCA.TV, is $55,000.
