Prestige, pay among many reasons to be part of RaceSaver Nationals at Eagle

EAGLE, Neb. – The best IMCA Sprint Car drivers from across the United States are Eagle Raceway bound for the Aug. 30-Sept. 2 RaceSaver Nationals. Early entries for the sixth annual event have now passed 110, with the pre-registration fee of $15. That comes with a reserved pit stall while they last in effect until Aug. 23. “There are a lot of different reasons why so many drivers want to be part of the RaceSaver Nationals. Dragoo collects first Sprint checkers

By Greg Soukup EAGLE, Neb. (Aug. 4) – Keith Dragoo’s first IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car win came Saturday night at Eagle Raceway. Clint Benson had passed Dragoo with just three laps left, but Dragoo returned the favor returned the favor on the last circuit to win a nail biter. “We’re the team who runs on used everything. We prove that it doesn’t take the best of everything to win a race,” he said. “We won this race on a set of used tires and a shock package from Jason Martin. One of his guys came over after the race and said, ‘Those seriously aren’t the tires that we gave you, are they?’ and I told him they sure were.’” Already on the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot, Jordan Grabouski earned $1,000 for his sixth Runner Freight IMCA Modified victory of the season. Bryan sprints to Eagle checkers

By Greg Soukup EAGLE, Neb. (July 28) – Nick Bryan led every lap in winning Saturday’s IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car feature at Eagle Raceway. The victory came in just his second visit to the Nebraska speedplant this season. “Somebody showed their nose a few times, but at the same time I just kept watching the scoreboard, counting down the laps and trying to stay out front,” he said. Mike Densberger collected Runner Freight IMCA Modified feature win number three this year, racing from eighth starting to the lead with seven laps left. Shawn Harker won his sixth Hoosier Racing Tire IMCA Northern SportMod feature of the season while Roy Armstrong raced to his third local checkers of 2018 from the 11th starting spot in the Valentino’s IMCA Hobby Stock finale. His ATV Motorsports IMCA Sport Compact victory was Justin Callender’s second of the year. He took charge with four circuits to go.

Misfit Challenge features this weekend at US 36, Eagle

Seventy IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car drivers have already taken that advice and are signed up to compete in the sixth annual event, to be held Aug. 30-Sept. 2 at Eagle Raceway. “Go online and pre-enter. Schidler flies to Eagle first

(July 21) – On the night 180 bicycles were given to young fans, Joe Schidler four-wheeled his way to his first Hoosier Racing Tire IMCA Northern SportMod feature win at Eagle Raceway. Schidler took the lead on the second lap and collected the Saturday checkers ahead of Gunnar Pike and Shawn Harker. “I couldn’t see what was going on behind me but I was hoping that it was the case that I was pulling away from the field,” he said. “The track was pretty good tonight, smooth in spots and tacky in other spots and that suits my driving style.” Dan Nelson made it to straight Runner Freight IMCA Modified victories and Kaleb Johnson earned his first local IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car laurels. Colby Kaspar earned his first Valentino’s IMCA Hobby Stock main event win and Trenten Fugett made it two straight in the ATV Motorsports IMCA Sport Compacts.

Danley races to RaceSaver Sprint checkers at Eagle

Danley snagged the lead near midway and beat Trevor Grossenbacher to the checkers. “After two rough weeks we got it done again and that feels pretty good. The track was tacky and rough. It was a ‘Cowboy Up’ track, and that’s what we like because it puts the race in the hands of the driver,” Danley said. “We started eighth and ran up to the front quick, but a couple of cars got crossed up there and Trevor got by me. Eagle Raceway primed for sixth annual IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Nationals

EAGLE, Neb. – IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car teams from across the country will head to Eagle Raceway for the Aug. 30-Sept. 2 RaceSaver Nationals. The sixth annual event concludes with a $2,500 to win, $1,250 to start main event. Beckman is best in Eagle Hobby Stock main

(June 9) – Nick Beckman grabbed the lead on lap two and held off all challengers in winning Saturday’s Valentino’s IMCA Hobby Stock feature at Eagle Raceway. “I’d say it’s been four years since I’ve been on the front stretch here. It feels really good to be back in a Hobby Stock,” he said. “I knew I had to get out front and run away. I’m just glad that I was able to hold off all of the fast drivers.” Scott Bivens got the lead on the 11th circuit in winning the Hoosier Racing Tire IMCA Northern SportMod main. Densberger delivers at Eagle

By Greg Soukup EAGLE, Neb. (June 2) – Mike Densberger ended a too-long absence from victory lane at Eagle Raceway with Saturday’s Runner Freight IMCA Modified checkers. The fifth starting Densberger passed Mike Lineberry for second on lap three and grabbed the lead the next time around. Jordan Grabouski, who had to transfer through the ‘B’ feature took over fourth with four to go and vaulted into second after two more laps but didn’t have enough time to make a play for the front spot. “It’s been a long time, almost three years now. I knew there were a lot of fast cars behind me, so I wanted to get to the front and keep them behind me,” Densberger said. “It was a little rough tonight but after how much rain we got last night you couldn’t ask for a better track.
