Performance Engineering & Manufacturing returns with awards for Deery, HDT drivers

SAINT CLAIR, Mo. – Performance Engineering and Manufacturing returns to the IMCA sponsorship ranks this season with product awards for Deery Brothers Summer Series and Hawkeye Dirt Tour drivers. The Saint Clair, Mo., company will give a set of standard quick change gears to the pole starter at main events in both the Late Model and Modified series. PEM had given awards to Deery competitors during its initial stint as an IMCA marketing partner from 2008-2010. “We had worked with the Summer Series for a while and wanted to get involved again with IMCA,” explained PEM Sales Manager Randy Harrison. “We had good response to our involvement with the Deery Series and want to do the same with the Hawkeye Dirt Tour.” Certificates will be mailed from the IMCA home office the week following each event. IMCA Modifieds race March 4, 5 at LVMS Dirt Track

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (Feb. 27) – The half-mile Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway hosts a pair of $750 to win events for IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds next Wednesday and Thursday, March 4 and 5. Features pay a minimum of $75 to start with $50 paid to non-qualifiers. Entry fee is $20 a night. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Larry Shaw Racing Western Region and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded for both draw/redraw shows. World of Outlaws Sprint Cars are on both programs. West Coast Late Models run on Wednesday and USAC West Coast Sprints on Thursday. Drivers in five IMCA divisions chase PRO prizes

BOONVILLE, Ind. – PRO Shocks rewards the on-track accomplishments of drivers in five IMCA divisions again this season. Product certificates valued at $300, $200 and $100 go to top three eligible drivers in the two regions for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, and in final national standings for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods. Coleman Racing Products gives Modified awards in 10th IMCA sponsorship season

MENOMINEE, Mich. – Ten Modified drivers receive awards from 10-year IMCA sponsor Coleman Racing Products this season. Both the rookie of the year and the sixth place finisher in official point standings for each of the five Modified regions will receive $50 product certificates from the Menominee, Mich., high performance parts manufacturer and distributor. KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The manufacturer of the “Official steering box of IMCA” is new this season to the national decal program for IMCA Modifieds. Sweet Manufacturing of Kalamazoo, Mich., will award steering boxes to champions in each of the five regions for IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds. Cold forecast cancels Kennedale’s Spring Kick-Off

KENNEDALE, Texas (Feb. 24) – A winter-like forecast has resulted in cancellation of this weekend’s scheduled Spring Kick-Off at Kennedale Speedway Park. IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center Southern SportMods were on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 28 and March 1 programs. IMCA, RaceSaver announce $6,500 Sprint Car national point fund

VINTON, Iowa – IMCA and RaceSaver have announced a $6,500 point fund, to be paid to top 10 drivers in national Sprint Car point standings this season. The national champion earns $1,000, with $900 for second, $800 for third, $700 for fourth and $600 for fifth. Sixth through 10th place drivers each earn $500. “National point fund shares are in addition to local track and series point funds, as well as a generous number of contingency awards,” noted IMCA President Brett Root. “We continue to get inquiries about sanctioning.
