Opening night is Saturday at Canyon Speedway Park

PEORIA, Ariz. – The 2015 racing season at Canyon Speedway Park officially gets underway with the Saturday, Feb. 28 opener on the 1/3-mile clay oval.

Following an open practice session on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday’s CSP season opener goes green at 7:00 p.m.

In addition to 9th World Vapor IMCA Modifieds, Saturday’s card will feature the ASCS Southwest Region winged Sprint Cars, Arizona Differential Pure Stocks, Scottsdale Muffler & Automotive Renegades and Dwarf Cars.

After winning two of three Winter Challenge events at CSP in January, Ricky Thornton Jr. kicks off his pursuit of the track’s IMCA Modified title that is worth $2,500 in 2015.

Tickets for Saturday’s CSP Season Opener are $16, with a $3 discount for military, seniors and students. Children ages 7-12 are $6, with children six and under admitted free. VIP passes are $20.
