
Weekend Ice Breaker Challenge opens season at Eagle
EAGLE, Neb. – The new race season at Eagle Raceway starts with the traditional Ice Breaker Challenge this Friday and Saturday, April 17 and 18. IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds race for $1,000 to win on Friday and for $2,000 to win on Saturday. A minimum of $50 will be paid to start and both events are qualifiers for the 2015 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. Also on the Friday program are Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, both running for $500 to win and a minimum of $70 to start. The Saturday card also features IMCA Eagle Motorsports RaceSaver Sprint Cars in a $1,000 to win, minimum $250 to start main event, the first of nine events this season in the inaugural Sprint Series of Nebraska.
