Fridays at Central Arkansas Motor Speedway to feature three IMCA divisions

PLUMERVILLE, Ark. – Friday night race programs at Central Arkansas Motor Speedway will feature three IMCA divisions beginning this season.  IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA STARS Mod Lites join weekly shows on the quarter-mile clay oval at Plumerville beginning March 25. Season championship night is set for Sept. 23. “We have been running IMCA rules and getting a good number of cars,” said promoter Wes Wise. “The IMCA rules are very popular in our area because they allow drivers to travel and not have to make changes to their cars to be legal to race at other tracks.” “We’ve been working with other tracks to help promote racing in general,” Wise continued. “We’re only two and a half to three hours from the state lines and are just off the interstate so we’ll be able to give more drivers the opportunity to race for points on Friday nights.” Modified points earned at Central Arkansas Motor Speedway will figure toward Jet Racing Central Region standings, Stock Car points toward EQ Cylinder Heads Southern [Read More]
