Stremme scores historic NY-Penn IMCA Bloomsburg Fair victory

(Aug. 29) – The NY-Penn IMCA Modified Series made its first trip to the historic Bloomsburg Fair Raceway on Sunday night, marking the first time the division turned laps at the Pennsylvania oval for the sixth race of the 2021 season With four different winners in the first five races, coming to a new venue would be anything but predictable. One thing that nobody predicted was seeing hotshoe David Stremme of Mifflintown try his hand at trying to claim the $1,000 payday. At the conclusion of the night, he would make the trip worthwhile, earning both the grand and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility. Sept. 3 Showdown brings six IMCA divisions to Marshalltown

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – Six IMCA divisions take to the fabled high banks for Marshalltown Speedway’s Friday, Sept. 3 Showdown at Motown. IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win along with Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods both run for $500 to win, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods both for $300 to win and IMCA STARS Mod Lites for $250 to win. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Side Biter Chassis North Central, EQ Cylinder Heads Northern and Big Daddy Race Cars Northern regional points, plus KMJ Performance Iowa State points will be awarded. Pit gates open at 5:15 p.m., the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m., hot laps are at 6:50 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m. Pit passes are $30 and there is no entry fee. Spectator admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and free for kids ages 10 and under.

IMCA.TV Fantasy Challenge at Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa – The IMCA.TV Fantasy Racing Challenge will crown its own nightly winners and an overall champion at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s at Boone Speedway in Boone, Iowa, Sept. 6-11. To be eligible for prizes in the IMCA.TV Fantasy Challenge, fans will need to make their picks in each division running each night of America’s Racin’ Vacation on the MyRacePass app. They’ll accumulate points based on how the drivers they pick fare in each race they’re in each night. Promoters Mooney and Connie Starr celebrate the Arkansas track’s golden season with a pair of $50,000 to win specials, the fifth annual Race for Hope 71 for IMCA Modifieds Sept. 22-25 and the World IMCA Stock Car Championships presented by IMCA.TV Oct. 13-16. Super Nationals cornhole tournament fields approach sellout

BOONE, Iowa – A final few spots remain in fields for Sunday, Sept. 5 and Friday, Sept. 10 cornhole tournaments during the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Sixty-four two-person teams will toss for shares of a $2,560 purse on Sunday while 48 two-person teams will take aim at shares of $1,920 on Friday. All teams must be affiliated with a Super Nationals registered driver – the list of pre-registered drivers has been posted on the IMCA website – and can enter using the Super Nationals pulldown on the IMCA or Boone Speedway websites. Payout for the top six teams on Sunday are $972 for first, $716 for second, $486 for third, $256 for fourth, $78 for fifth and $52 for sixth. 82 Stock Car drivers now eligible to qualify for B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational

BOONE, Iowa – Abe Huls and Todd Gereau are the newest additions to the list of 82 drivers eligible to qualify for the B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational. Time trial qualifying is Wednesday, Sept. 8 with the inaugural Stock Car invitational to be held Thursday, Sept. 9 during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s at Boone Speedway. Early entries for Super Nationals at record 800

BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 27) – Another week, another record number of entries for the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Registration opened on July 7 and Northern SportMod driver Travis Burger of Manhattan, Kan., became the first pre-entry. Modified driver Brent Dutenhoffer of Watertown, S.D., became the record 800th pre-registered driver this afternoon. This is the earliest day early entry numbers for Super Nationals have hit that mark. The 800 entries this year continue to run about 60 ahead of the same time last August.
