B & B Chassis finds perfect fit as sponsor of IMCA Super Nationals Stock Car All-Star Invitational

Sachau, Murty, Purdy are dynamic at Stuart

By Josh Reynolds STUART, Iowa (June 16) – Jake Sachau, Dallon Murty and Jeremy Purdy were all dynamic on night two of the Dynamic Drivelines Dirt Duel at Stuart Speedway.  Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods were the first Dirt Duel feature on the track with Brayton Carter and Dylan VanWyk leading the field to green. VanWyk led early until Carter slid by to take the lead a third of the way through the 35-lap event. Carter held it through a several yellows before Sachau used a restart to take the lead on lap 25. Carter gave it his all but Sachau was too strong as he went on to the $2,500 win. Carter finished second with Izac Mallicoat third, Cam Reimers fourth and VanWyk fifth.  Chanse Hollatz and Abe Huls led the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars to the green flag for their 40-lap feature, next with Hollatz leading the first 11 laps. $750 is top IMCA Stock Car prize Saturday at Indee

INDEPENDENCE, Iowa – IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $750 to win on Crawford Farms Hall of Fame Night Saturday at Independence Motor Speedway. A qualifier for the B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational and sponsored by J&V NAPA Auto Parts, the feature pays $100 to start. Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods race for $500 to win and $100 to start, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $300 to win and $75 to start. IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Sunoco Late Models are also on the June 19 card.  This year’s Hall of Fame class includes Paul Fitzpatrick, Bob Hilmer, Karl Sanger, Bill Barthelmes, Don Bedard, Tiny Russell and Gordon Bentley. An autograph signing session starts by the Bud Shack at 5 p.m. There will be a meet and greet with new and previously inducted hall of famers.Pits open at 4 p.m. and the grandstands at 4:30 p.m. with racing at approximately 6 p.m., temperatures permitting.

$1,000 check to Friday IMCA Modified winner at Davenport

DAVENPORT, Iowa – IMCA Modifieds run for $1,000 to win in their Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying feature this Friday at Davenport Speedway.  Also on the June 18 card are Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods. Both divisions will be draw/redraw. Pit gates open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m., with hot laps at 6:30 p.m. and racing to follow. Pit passes are $35 for adults and $15 for ages three through 12, and two and under free. Grandstand admission is $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and students, $5 for kids ages five through 12 and free for four and under.

How sweet it is! IMCA Wild West Tour returns to Rock Springs for weekend shows

ROCK SPRINGS, Wy. – Frequent destination Sweetwater Speedway is next on the schedule for IMCA’s Pitt Stop Motorsports Wild West Tour. IMCA Modifieds race for a minimum of $1,000 to win, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods both for at least $750 and also based on car count Friday, June 18 and Saturday, June 19.  Both Modified features are Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying events and Stock Car feature winners become eligible to qualify for the B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational. The tour has traveled to 16 different tracks in its 119-race history and to none more often than Sweetwater, which hosts its 22nd and 23rd Wild West events this weekend.  IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, KMJ Performance State and track points will be awarded both nights. IMCA Modifieds, Stock Cars headline Thomas County’s Hartwell Memorial

COLBY, Kan. – A pair of All-Star Invitational qualifying events top the ticket at this weekend’s Jeff Hartwell Memorial at Thomas County Speedway.  IMCA Modifieds run for $1,523 and a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berth, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars for $1,023 to win and B & B Chassis All-Star Invitational qualifying eligibility on Saturday, June 19 at Colby. IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods both race for $623 to win, Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $223 to win.  Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. Grandstand admission is $10 with kids ages 12 and under getting in free. Pit passes are $30.

Mod Lites of Arkansas headed to Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Ark. – Mod Lites of Arkansas return to Old No. 1 Speedway this Saturday for a $500 to win, minimum $100 to start main event. More than 30 IMCA STARS Mod Lite drivers from a five-state area are expected to compete in the June 19 show at Harrisburg. Entry fee is $15.  Pit gates open at 4 p.m. with pre-tech to follow. Racing starts at 7:30 p.m.

81 Speedway on tap Saturday for United Rebel Sprint Series This Saturday

PARK CITY, Kan. – Drive to Zero POWRi United Rebel Sprint Series Presented by Mel Hambelton Ford Racing competitors are slated to return to Park City, Kansas’ Race 81 Speedway on Saturday, June 19. Their last visit on May 22 saw Danny Smith walking away the victor.   The race, paying $1000 to win and $200, to start should bring a great field of cars from the Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri area.  Hot laps are slated for 6 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m. General admission is $15 for adults, with kids ages 10 and under free of charge.  The United Rebel Sprint Series partnered with Kansas’ Drive to Zero program to offer a $5,000 pay day to the 2021 series champion. $250 Sunoco bonuses on tap at two venues this weekend

VINTON, Iowa – Extra money is on the line for the winner of Friday’s main event for IMCA Sunoco Late Models at Lee County Speedway and Sunday’s Gary Webb tribute at East Moline Speedway. Sunoco bonuses will be presented at Late Model sanctioned tracks again this year. Drivers are eligible for one bonus during the 2021 racing season. Winners so far this year are Matt Ryan at 300 Raceway in Farley, followed by Sean Johnson at Independence Motor Speedway, Andy Eckrich at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, and Ron Klein at Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway.  IMCA will announce mid-week before the dates bonuses are to be awarded at each track.  Racing is set to get underway following 7 p.m. hot laps in Donnellson and 5:30 hot laps in East Moline.

Qualifying starts for Stuart’s Dirt Duel

By Josh Reynolds STUART, Iowa (June 15) – Tuesday night saw 108 race cars and drivers at Stuart Speedway for opening night of the Dynamic Drivelines Dirt Duel.  Qualifying feature winners for the night were Dylan VanWyk and Brayton Carter in the Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods, Dallon Murty and Chanse Hollatz in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, and Jeremy Purdy and Braden Richards in the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks.  In the feature for Mach-1 Sport Compacts, Braxton Wallace and Dusty Champlin were on the front row. Wallace rocketed into the lead and it was all over from there as the T13 drove off to the win. Mark Smith finished second with Andrew Mills third, Harold Robb fourth and Curtis Masterson fifth. Cory Sonner and Kaden Cochrun led the IMCA STARS Mod Lites to the green flag and it was all Cochrun as he cruised to the win.
