4 Wide Promotions partnership takes charge of IMCA weekly racing at Hancock Co. Speedway

BRITT, Iowa – Friendships forged at the track led to the partnership that will promote weekly race programs this season at Hancock County Speedway. 4 Wide Promotions will be in charge of Friday shows featuring IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods and Mach-1 Sport Compacts. “We’re really excited. Jones kicks off 2017 campaign with IMCA RaceSaver Sprint win at KSP

KENNEDALE, Texas (Feb. 25-26) – The pace for the first half of Saturday’s IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car feature at Kennedale Speedway Park was to Kyle Jones’ liking, as he worked his way toward the front of the Spring Kick-Off field. Once he got in the lead, however, the laps didn’t seem to click off nearly as quickly. Clay County Fair Speedway moves to Sunday night racing

SPENCER, Iowa – The tradition of IMCA racing will continue this summer with Sunday night action at the Clay County Fair Speedway. Ten dates are on the IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing weekly schedule this summer. Special events will include two fair dates, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock and Stock Car specials, and a stop by the Arnold Motor Supply Hawkeye Dirt Tour for IMCA Modifieds in August. Sunday June 4 will kick off the speedway’s third full season, which will run weekly through Aug. 13. No doubt about it, Doughty is fastest in Sprint Series of Texas opener at Winona

WINONA, Texas (Feb. 25) – Any lingering questions Tucker Doughty might have had about the start of his 2017 season were answered when the Sprint Series of Texas opened Saturday at Rose Bowl Speedway. Baca earns redemption, takes IMCA Modified title at Desert Classic

(Feb. 24-25) – The 29th annual IMCA Desert Classic at Canyon Speedway Park is in the record book and Chaz Baca Jr. wrote his own chapter with the win in the 40-lap headliner for IMCA Modifieds. 2016 Sprint Series of Texas champion is new IMCA RaceSaver tour owner, director

GREENVILLE, Texas – Last year’s tour champion is the new owner and director of the Sprint Series of Texas. Jeff Day is in charge of an IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car series that visits six tracks in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana in 2017. The first nine of 11 tour dates are scheduled during the IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing point season. “I want to see this series thrive and continue the tradition of great Sprint Car racing in this area,” said Day. “We want to find more ways to get fans, especially the kids, involved and get more publicity for drivers following the series.” The Sprint Series of Texas takes its own command trailer and fire trucks to each event.
