
Sept. 3-4 Prelude sets stage for 40th IMCA Super Nationals
BOONE, Iowa (Aug. 25, 2022) – Drivers in five IMCA divisions will get some important racing laps in, while drivers in a sixth will crown a champion during the eighth annual Wild Rose Casino Prelude at Boone Speedway on Saturday, Sept. 3 and Sunday, Sept. 4. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds race for $1,500 to win, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars for $1,000 to win and Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts for $250 to win on Saturday while Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods run for $750 to win and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $400 to win on Sunday. Modified and Stock Car winners become eligible for their respective All-Star Invitationals later in the week. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and state points will be awarded both nights; drivers must be pre-registered for Super Nationals to compete in the Prelude.
