MENOMINEE, Mich. – Coleman Racing Products begins its second decade of IMCA sponsorship by giving product certificate awards in all five Modified regions. The rookie of the year and the sixth place finisher in point standings in each region for Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds receive $50 product certificates from the high performance parts manufacturer and distributor located in Menominee, Mich. LINCOLN, Neb. – Division title sponsor EMI provides a portion of the point fund to be paid out to top 10 drivers in national IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car point standings for a fourth consecutive season. BEATRICE, Neb. – Jet Racing reaches one IMCA sponsorship milestone and nears another in 2016. This race season is the Beatrice, Neb., chassis builder’s fifth consecutive as title sponsor of IMCA’s Central Region for Modifieds. This is also the 19th straight year Jet has partnered with IMCA in providing cash or contingency awards. Owned by four-time IMCA Modified national champion Johnny Saathoff, Jet Racing backed spe­cial events and Stock Car and Hobby Stock regions before taking over title sponsorship of the Modified Central Region, which includes tracks in Arkansas, eastern Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma. A point fund totaling $6,000 will be paid to top 10 drivers in that region. ABBOTT, Texas – The only title sponsor IMCA’s Sport Compact division has known returns to that role in 2016. Mach-1 Racing Solution again provides a portion of the $1,000 point fund to be paid to top 10 drivers in final national standings for the 4-cylinder class. The Gary Mach-owned company began giving Sport Compact contingencies in 2009 and became title sponsor for the class in 2011. This season is the third in a five-year sponsorship pact. Sport Compact champions were crowned at 40 tracks and in two special series, in 10 states in last year. One hundred and thirty-six different drivers have now won one or more of the nearly 250 track or special series titles awarded since IMCA began sanctioning Sport Compacts in 2006. The Kalamazoo, Mich., company is manufacturer of the official steering box of IMCA and gives contingency awards to Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified and IMCA Late Model drivers again in 2016. Champions in each of the five Modified regions and the top driver in national Late Model point standings all earn steering boxes.
