Fox builds on first season IMCA success with Modified, Stock, Northern SportMod awards

EL CAJON, Calif. – Building on a successful first season of IMCA sponsorship, Fox Shocks gives contingency awards in three sanctioned divisions again in 2016.

The El Cajon, Calif., manufacturer awards product certificates in increments of $300, $250 and $200 to top three eligible drivers in each of the five regions for Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds, both IMCA Sunoco Stock Car regions and in national standings for the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods.

Drivers in all three divisions must display two Fox decals on their race car, compete with four Fox-manufactured shocks and return a completed sign-up form to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1.

Fox has been in the shock-building business since 1974, for motocross, ATV and snowmobile markets before expanding into the dirt track racing market in 2013.

“We may be the new kids on the block, but our racers’ success in 2015 speaks for itself,” said Fox Track program Manager Pat Macaulay. “FOX is extremely excited and eager to continue building on that success in the 2016 IMCA season with a contingency program designed to support our racers that fight their way to the top of the box. In the words of Bob Fox, ‘Good luck and good racing.’”

Information about Fox shocks and dealers is available at the www.ridefox.com website, on Facebook and by calling 831 274-6500 or 800 369-7469.

“I encourage all racers participating with Fox-made shocks to return their contingency sign-up forms as soon as possible to ensure they are eligible for those awards,” emphasized IMCA marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “The last thing we want to do is leave any awards unclaimed, especially with as valuable as shock awards can be.”
