$100,000 up for grabs for United Rebel Sprint Series during “Month of Money”

DODGE CITY, Kan. – Through the month of July and the first week of August, the IMCA RaceSaver United Rebel Sprint Series will compete for an estimated $100,000 in total purse money during a 13-race stretch that begins July 1 in Dodge City, Kan., and ends Aug 6 at the famed Belleville High Banks in Belleville, Kan. This will be the largest combined payout for the “Month of Money” in the 11-year history of the URSS. This will also be the start of the 13-race URSS national championship battle, all of which pay a minimum $1,000 to win and $200 to start. 10 Ironman Series race dates for IMCA Modifieds in Nevada

TONOPAH, Nev. – Ten $1,000 to win race dates at five Nevada tracks make up the 2016 Evenson Law Office Ironman Challenge Series for Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds. All 10 features are qualifying events for the upcoming Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot and pay a minimum of $100 to start. The series opens with Saturday and Sunday, June 25 and 26 shows at Tonopah Speedway then moves on to Hawthorne Speedway on Monday and Tuesday, June 27 and 28. Lovelock Speedway hosts Wednesday and Thursday, June 29 and 30 programs. It’s off to Fernley 95A Speedway for Friday and Saturday, July 1 and 2 races. IMCA Modified tour dates tote $1,000 to win checks in Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota

BILLINGS, Mont. – Two upcoming tours traveling in three states will give Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified drivers nine opportunities to win $1,000 over the course of just 10 days. All feature races in the June 25-29 Interstate IMCA Modified Challenge Series and the July 1-4 Warriors Rendezvous in Montana series are qualifying events for the 2016 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. BRITT, Iowa – One of the top-paying events of the season could send the winner of Hancock County Speedway’s Tuesday, June 21 MaxYield Seed Northern SportMod Nationals home with as much as $4,000. The main event for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods pays a minimum of $2,500 to win. Five hundred dollar bonuses will be paid if that driver has raced at least six times this season, has perfect attendance and has won a regular season feature at Britt this season. FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. (June 17) – The richest week of IMCA Racing in Wisconsin takes Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified drivers to 141 Speedway, Oshkosh SpeedZone Raceway and Shawano Speedway for the three installments of the Cheesehead Triple Crown. A top check of $10,000 is at stake at the June 22-23 Clash at the Creek. Both the June 24 Battle at the Zone at Oshkosh and the June 25 Fury at the Fairgrounds at Shawano pay $5,000 to win. Cottage Grove hosts Shoot Out rounds three and four

By Ben Deatherage COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. – Cottage Grove Speedway hosts the third and fourth races of the 2016 Wild West IMCA Modified Shoot Out Monday and Tuesday, June 13 and 14. More than 40 Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified drivers are expected to make the trip and will be coming from all over North America, including Colorado, North Dakota, British Columbia and even North Carolina. Prices each night are $8 for adult general admission, youths ages 6-12 are $5 and kids five and under are free. Two-day passes are available for $10. The front gate opens at 4 p.m. with racing scheduled to get underway at 6 p.m. both days. Mark Wauge is the only multi-feature winner of the class in local competition at CGS. SPI announces double IMCA Late Model features

FARLEY, Iowa – Last Friday night’s racing program came to an abrupt halt when Mother Nature unloaded on Farley Speedway. The GSI Collision Specialists IMCA Modified feature had just taken the checkered flag when the rains moved, in forcing SPI officials to postpone the Out Pace Racing Products IMCA Late Model feature. This Friday night, June 17, Farley Speedway will run two 25-lap IMCA Late Model features. The makeup feature event has 15 positions open and drivers who were not in attendance last Friday night will be able to qualify for the makeup as well as the regularly scheduled race simply by paying an additional pit pass. It will be Legends Night on Friday, an annual event honors retired dirt track divers who are a rich part of the history of racing in Eastern Iowa. In addition all weekly classes will be racing along with special guests the Vintage Coupe drivers. Hot laps get underway at 7 p.m. with racing to follow at 7:30 p.m.
