Biggest dirt track event on the planet has super-sized purse 

BOONE, Iowa – A super-sized purse will be paid to competitors in the biggest dirt track event on the planet, the Sept. 4-9 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s The 900-plus drivers coming to Boone Speedway from coast to coast and border to border, as well as Canada, earn shares of a purse nearing $300,000. Open house is Wednesday at EMi 

LINCOLN, Neb. – EMi hosts an open house from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30 at its 300 Speedway Circle location in Lincoln. Race teams and fans attending the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Nation­als are invited. Practice for fifth annual event is on Thursday, with racing on Sept. 1-2-3 programs. EAGLE, Neb. – The nearly 120 drivers pre-registered for the Aug. 31-Sept. 3 IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Nationals made the trip to Eagle Raceway from coast to coast and border to border. Thirteen states are represented by early entries for the fifth annual IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car event. Sunday’s feature pays $2,500 to win and a minimum $1,250 to start, with a generous num­ber of contingencies to be awarded as well. The starting field of 27 will be determined through qualifying on Sept. 1 and 2 and in last-chance qualifying on Sept. 3. Canyon’s Labor Day Weekend special features three IMCA divisions 

PEORIA, Ariz. – IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berths both nights of Canyon Speedway Park’s Labor Day Weekend Shootout. A minimum of $100 will be paid to start Saturday, Sept. 2 and Sunday, Sept. 3 features. Pill draw both nights is $25 and entry fee is $25. On Saturday, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars run for $300 to win and a minimum of $40 to start with $10 pill draw. IMCA Modifieds headline Sept. 1 Showdown at Motown 

MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa – Four sanctioned divi­sions are on the card for the Friday, Sept. 1 Showdown at Motown, with IMCA Modifieds run­ning for $1,000 to win and a spot on the 2018 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet North­ern SportMods both vie for $500 to win while IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks chase a top check of $300. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, re­gional and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded. Spectator admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and free for kids 10 and under. Pit passes are $30. Three IMCA Modified features slated at Gillette’s East-West Clash 

GILLETTE, Wyo. – Gillette Thunder Speedway hosts three $1,000 to win features for IMCA Modifieds over the course of its 18th annual East-West Clash special Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 1-3. All three features are 2018 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifiers. Saturday and Sunday features both pay a minimum of $100 to start. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Larry Shaw Racing Western Region and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded each night. Entry fee is $75 each night. Sprint Series of Oklahoma, URSS team for Longdale Speedway battle

(Aug. 22) – Race thirteen on the Sprint Series of Oklahoma IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car Series 2017 season is set for this coming Saturday, Aug. 26 at Longdale Speedway in a co-sanctioned event with the Kansas-based United Rebel Sprint Series. Saturday’s feature winner earns $1,000. As if he needed any more incentive to score his first victory of the season, Jake Martens unoffi­cially comes into the night with 15-point lead over defending IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car national and Sprint Series of Oklahoma champion Andy Shouse. United Rebel Sprint Series Ready for Three This Weekend!
