Ken Schrader, Kenny Wallace join IMCA Modifieds for July 18-21 BST events

LAMAR, Colo. (July 15) – Two of motorsports most popular drivers join the IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified field for four Precise Racing Products BST Series dates. Ken Schrader suits up for the Friday, July 18 show at Lamar Speedway. He’ll be joined by Kenny Wallace for NASCAR Drivers Night at the Fair at El Paso County Speedway in Calhan on Saturday, July 19; at Thomas County Speedway in Colby, Kan., on Sunday, July 20; and at Phillips County Raceway in Holyoke on Monday, July 21. Dodge City Raceway Park Stampede pays $1,200 to IMCA Modified winner

DODGE CITY, Kan. – The IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified driver winning Dodge City Raceway Park’s Saturday, July 19 Stam­pede special earns $1,200 and one of the first berths on the 2015 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. The feature pays a minimum of $150 to start and IMCA Speedway Mo­tors Weekly Racing National, Jet Racing Central Region, All­star Performance State and local track points will be awarded. Pit gates open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:45 p.m. and racing be­gins at 7:30 p.m. There is no entry fee; pit passes are $30. Wild West IMCA Modified Speedweek Right Around The Corner

By Ben Deatherage BANKS, Ore. – Over the span of a week’s time later in July, three tracks will host a total of six Wild West IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified Speedweek races to determine bragging rights for the division in the Pacific Northwest. Beginning on Saturday, July 19 at Sunset Speedway Park and ending on Saturday, July 26 at Willamette Speedway, the six-race series will determine who are the best IMCA Modified chauf­feurs in the region at three of the most competitive tracks in the state of Oregon. Cottage Grove Speedway will host two mid-week events on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 22 and 23. Since 2011 there have been three completed Modified Speedweeks. Lab testing confirms Mullen $10,000 richer

VINTON, Iowa (July 2) – Samples of the tires Mike Mullen used in winning the Clash at the Creek special for IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds have passed testing conducted at an independent laboratory. The June 26 victory at Francis Creek paid $10,000. This was the second time this season tire samples have been sent for testing. IMCA officials indicated sampling will continue throughout the 2014 point season.

Redline Racing Parts North Star Series is at Fairmont on the Fourth

FAIRMONT, Minn. – A holiday show is next for the Redline Racing Parts North Star Series this Friday, July 4 at Fairmont Raceway. IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Mach-1 Sport Compacts are on the track for the fifth of 10 tour dates this season.
