Knoxville hosts next IMCA Arnold Motor Supply Dirt Knights Tour date

KNOXVILLE, Iowa – Many of the best IMCA Modified drivers in the Midwest put their on-track skills to the test at the Sprint Car Capital of the World next Thursday, July 19. Knoxville Raceway hosts the third installment of the Arnold Motor Supply Dirt Knights Tour. IMCA Modifieds run for $2,000 to win and a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot nod while Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods complete the Dynamic Drivelines Dirt Duel program. Pit gates open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 6 p.m. on race day. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $10 for students ages 13-19, and free for kids 12 and under. 141 reschedules King of the Creek Stock Car special

FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. (July 18) – A less than favorable forecast for this weekend has resulted in rescheduling of 141 Speedway’s $5,000 to win King of the Creek IMCA Sunoco Stock Car special. King of the Creek moves to Tuesday, July 31-Thursday, Aug. 2. Practice is on opening night with Stock Car qualifying and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Mach-1 Sport Compact features on the docket for Wednesday. No track points will be given to SportMod and Sport Compact drivers. Thursday’s program features last-chance qualifying and the main event for Stock Cars, plus all other divisions running their regular formats. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional, Wisconsin State and track points will be awarded. Both IMCA Modifieds and Stock Cars are on the Cowbell Street Stock Tour program Thursday, July 19 at Francis Creek. Modifieds race for $750 to win, Stocks for $500. $750 to win feature at Davenport July 24 for Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods 

DAVENPORT, Iowa – Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods race for $750 to win their Mississippi Valley Fair show next Tuesday, July 24 at Davenport Speedway. A minimum of $75 will be paid to start and there is no entry fee for the draw/redraw show, held in conjunction with the World of Outlaws Late Models. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and Iowa State, but no track points will be awarded. General admission is $25 and box seats are $30. $1,500 is top IMCA Modified check Saturday at Perris

PERRIS, Calif. – IMCA Modifieds race for $1,500 to win and a Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot berth at Perris Auto Speedway this Saturday, July 21. The 30-lapper awards IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Larry Shaw Race Cars Western Region, California State and track points. JACKSON, Minn. – The Heartland Steel Racesaver Sprint Cars presented by Wyffels Hybrids will be added to the Jackson Motorplex program on Wednesday, July 18 with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the LMSS Touring Series. IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars will be racing for $600 to win, plus IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National and state points, plus a new Keizer wheel. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. for the draw/redraw show.

IMCA Sunoco Stock Car winner earns $5,000 at 141’s King of the Creek 

FRANCIS CREEK, Wis. – The IMCA Sunoco Stock Car king, or queen, at 141 Speedway’s July 19-21 King of the Creek special banks $5,000. Qualifying begins on Friday, July 20; last chance races and the main event are on Saturday, July 21. Entry fee for the Stocks is $100. Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods race for $500 to win both nights while Mach-1 Sport Compacts are on deck for a $250 to win show on Friday. Dacotah Speedway hosts $10,003 to win Legendary special for IMCA Modifieds 

MANDAN, N.D. – Dacotah Speedway is excited to announce the $10,003 to win IMCA Modified Legendary 50 presented by Corral Sales scheduled for Friday, July 13. Many of the best drivers from across the United States and Canada will compete for the largest cash prize for an IMCA Modified race in North Dakota. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, Side Biter Chassis and North Dakota State points, but no track points will be awarded. Entry fee is now $150. The main event is a 2018 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier and will feature the 32 drivers who raced their way into the big show, plus one additional spot to be determined by presenting sponsor Corral Sales. Wheatshocker Nationals on Tap for URSS 

HAYS, Kan. – After last week’s three races in six days, the United Rebel Sprint Series will next head this Saturday and Sunday, July 14 and 15 to the 10th running of the Wheatshocker Nationals at RPM Speedway in Hays, Kan., for their opening weekend of the Ellis County Fair. Oklahoma’s Andy Shouse took home top honors in last years event, collecting the $2000 winner’s share and also taking home the custom Pit Boss Pellet Grille furnished by Lance Pittmann of S&W Supply/Federated Auto Parts of Hays for being the top point earner of the two-day event. This year’s event will once again pay $2,000 to the winner with $200 to start in Saturday’s championship feature. LAKE ODESSA, Mich. – The lucky winner of I-96 Speedway’s Friday the 13th July special goes home with $1,500. The Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying event pays $1,000 to the runner-up and a minimum of $165 to start. VIVIAN, La. – IMCA Modifieds and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods are on the card when Ark-La-Tex ushers in the Independence Day celebration with the Tuesday, July 3 Firecracker 40.
