Nebraska State Championship special is Aug. 30 at Beatrice Speedway

BEATRICE, Neb. (Aug. 27) – Five IMCA divisions are on the Friday, Aug. 30 Nebraska State Championships card at Beatrice Speedway. IMCA Modifieds race for $1,000 to win and a minimum of $100 to start their 2014 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier. Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods are in the running for $600 to win and a minimum of $75 to start. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars chase a $600 top prize and $50 to start. IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks run for $400 to win and $50 to start; Mach-1 Sport Compacts vie for $150 to win and $40 to start. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded. Numerous prizes will be given to competing drivers. Pit passes are $25. Spectator admission is $12 for adults, $5 for kids and free for six and under. Witten’s Warriors Shootout this weekend at Aztec

Aztec hosts Witten’s Warriors Stock Car Shootout on Aug. 31, Sept. 1 AZTEC, N.M. (Aug. 26) – Racing is the second most important aspect of the Witten’s Warriors Stock Car Shootout special at Aztec Speedway this Saturday, Aug. 31 and Sunday, Sept. 1. The event is a fundraiser for the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation in Albuquerque and helps raise awareness about cerebral palsy. Witten’s Warriors T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats and other souvenirs will be sold at the track both days. Features for the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds will be held both nights, each paying $1,000 to win. Both Modified features are qualifiers for the 2014 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. Saturday’s Stock Car winner gets a $300 product certificate from Sybesma Graphics. Mills Masters Modifieds for $2,000 Schattschneider Memorial Payday at Algona

By Greg Grabianowski ALGONA, Iowa (Aug. 7, 2025) — Chaz Baca Jr. and Joel Rust brought the 21-car Friesen Performance IMCA Modified field to the flagstand for the green at Kossuth County Speedway on night four of the 2025 Iowa Speedweek and the Schattschneider Memorial. Baca led the first three laps around the Algona oval before Jeremy Mills powered into the lead on lap four. Once out front, Mills built a commanding advantage and never looked back, collecting his fourth feature win of the season at Algona and a $2,000 payday. The victory was also his 11th of 2025 in the Razor Chassis North Central Region. Tim Ward finished second for $1,200, with Baca third and $1,100 richer. Doubleheader Weekend Set for Maquoketa Speedway August 15–16

By Ben Deatherage MAQUOKETA, Iowa (Aug. 12, 2025) — Maquoketa Speedway will be rocking with two full nights of racing action on Friday and Saturday, August 15–16, featuring the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars, and Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMods. Both nights will be run under the draw/redraw format and will award Speedway Motors IMCA Weekly Racing National, Razor Chassis Northern Central Regional, and Iowa State points. The Modified and Stock Car features will be Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational and B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational qualifying events. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds and Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars will race for $1,000 to win on Friday and $1,500 to win on Saturday. Deschamp Claims $4000 John Gaule Memorial Glory at Nodak

(Aug. 10, 2025) — Westhope’s Gabriel Deschamp topped the inaugural John Gaule Memorial at Nodak Speedway on Sunday night, pocketing $4,000 in the biggest Karl Chevrolet IMCA Northern SportMod race in North Dakota. The 40-lap main event honored the late John Gaule and drew a talent-packed field of 48 entries from across the state and beyond for its first running. Three-time Estevan Motor Speedway champion and 2025 Tougher Than Dirt Tour titlist Leevi Runge paced the opening laps after starting from the pole.
