Budweiser Clydesdales Night Friday at Clay County

SPENCER, Iowa – The Budweiser Clydesdale Eight-Horse Hitch will be making a public appearance prior to a full night of IMCA racing at the Clay County Fair Speedway on Friday, May 15. The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales will make their appearance from 5-7 p.m. Hot laps begin at 6:30 p.m. with races to follow at 7 p.m. “World famous Clydesdales, high caliber IMCA racing and the Finish Line Food Court will make for a great Friday night in Spencer,” said CCF Manager Jeremy Parsons. New to the Clay County Fair Speedway this season is the Finish Line Food Court. Each Friday night, a variety of food and merchandise vendors will be set up outside the grandstand giving race fans and Spencer residents a “festival atmosphere to enjoy,” said Parsons. Idaho Falls re-opens with inaugural Dirt Wars special

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho – Idaho Falls Raceway roars back to life with the inaugural Dirt Wars special on Friday and Saturday, May 15 and 16. IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified features both nights pay $1,000 to win and are Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifying events. Top prize in the IMCA SportMod features is $750. All applicable IMCA will be awarded each evening. Pit gates open at noon and the grandstand opens at 3 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m. both days. Grandstand admission for the weekend is $12 for adults, $5 for kids and free for three and under. Modified entry fee is $50 each night and pit passes are $15. Racing action will alternate with a truck pull, to be held behind the adjoining go-kart track. Schrader, Wallace return for rescheduled IMCA Night specials at Longdale, Outlaw

LONGDALE, Okla. (May 4) – IMCA Night specials at Longdale Speedway tomorrow night and at Outlaw Motor Speedway in Muskogee on Wednesday have been rescheduled for July 28 and 29. NASCAR drivers Ken Schrader and Kenny Wallace will still compete both nights. Track officials noted forecasts calling for a 90 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms each of the next two days in announcing the rescheduled dates. Both IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified features pay $1,500 to win and a minimum of $100 to start. IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and IMCA SportMods race for $1,000 to win and a minimum of $50 to start each night. Top five pay upped for Southern Raceway Bay Area Modified Tour show

MILTON, Fla. – Bigger payouts are at stake for top five finishers in the Saturday, April 25 Bay Area Emerald Coast Tour feature at Southern Raceway. The IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified feature winner earns $650, with $500 for second, $400 for third, $300 for fourth and $250 for fifth. A $100 cash clean driving hard charger award will be paid to the driver improving position in the feature without making contact with another car. Hard luck awards and longest tow awards, both good for $50, will also be given Top three feature finishers and heat winners receive trophies. Sprint Series of Nebraska opens Friday at Eagle

EAGLE, Neb. – The first green now flies on Friday for the Sprint Series of Nebraska. IMCA Eagle Motorsports RaceSaver Sprint Cars share the April 24 Rumble In The Bullring card at Eagle Raceway with USAC 410 wingless sprints. Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 6:30 p.m. Hot laps are at approximately 7:15 p.m. and racing is at 7:30 p.m. Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and free for five and under. Pit passes are $30. Series title sponsor is Precise Racing Products of Bennington. The original opening night was rained out along with the rest of the Ice Breaker Challenge program at Eagle last weekend.

22 chassis builders enter IMCA Manufacturers’ Cup contest

VINTON, Iowa – National and regional honors will be determined by 22 chassis builders entered in the seventh annual IMCA Manufacturers’ Cup contest. Manufacturers’ Cup standings are based on makes of chassis driven by top 10 drivers in each of the five Modified regions. The builder with the highest overall point total will be recognized as the 2015 national Manufacturer of the Year and receive a $500 prize and trophy during the national awards banquet in November. Madden’s IMCA Stock Car on display at Monster Jam shows

By Edward Anschutz GREEN BAY, Wis. – Evan Madden will have his 2015 Wolfe Racing Chassis IMCA Sunoco Stock Car on display for the Monster Truck show at the Resch Center in Green Bay this weekend. Madden’s crew chief Brenan Parkos, who is a professional quad racer, was approached by Monster Jam promoters in search of what Wisconsin fans are into. The answer was easy for Parkos: “Dirt track racing!” Madden will have his black and green racing machine on display for the three Monster Jam shows Friday and Saturday, April 11-12. He is rumored to have a few hot laps in store for the crowd. “This is a bucket list for me, I’ve been a huge Grave Digger fan since I was a kid and I’m looking forward to seeing that monster truck up close while getting my sponsors some extra exposure,” Madden said. “They gave me free passes and full access to anywhere I want to go. New Nebraska series needs name, slogan

Attention all race fans and drivers, history has been made! We are proud to announce that four Nebraska tracks have come together like never before. U.S. 30 Speedway, Boone County Speedway, Off Road Speedway and Stuart Raceway, in cooperation with IMCA are excited to announce a new race series to be hosted at these four tracks. Pennsylvania Sprint Series sanctions with IMCA

PORT ROYAL, Pa. – With the 2015 season set to start this weekend the Pennsylvania Sprint Series has finalized an agreement to sanction with IMCA. Beginning this Saturday, April 4 at Port Royal Speedway, PASS races will run under the IMCA sanction. The series has been affiliated with RaceSaver since its founding in 1998. More than 70 different drivers competed in one or more series events last year. PASS features typically averaged car counts of 22-30. “We’re big but we don’t act big. We’re a group of recreational drivers.
