Harris Auto Racing returns for 15th season as title sponsor of Modified Race of Champions

BOONE, Iowa – Harris Auto Racing marks another milestone at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.  The Boone, Iowa, chassis manufacturer returns for a 15th consecutive season as title sponsor of the Modified Race of Champions, furnishing a portion of the purse to be paid for the $1,000 to win feature on Saturday, Sept. 11.      Qualifying for the 12-car, 12-lap, race is Thursday, Sept. 9 and is open to top drivers in local track standings competing at Super Nationals, as well as 2021 track champions, former national, regional and Super Nationals champions, and to previous race winners. Two hundred and ten different drivers from 26 states and Canada have competed in the Modified Race of Champions since it was added to the Super Nationals schedule. Main event qualifiers in 6 divisions get replica door panels, hoods from Five1seven Designs

BOONE, Iowa – Qualifiers for main events in six divisions competing at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s take home special souvenirs from the 39th annual event.  Five1seven Designs of Whitney, Texas, gives replica door panels to Modified, Northern SportMod and STARS Mod Lite qualifiers while Stock Car, Hobby Stock and Sport Compact qualifiers all receive replica hoods. Replica door panels measure 10” tall by 23” long while hoods are 16” by 12.”  Awards have been made specific to each division and display the Super Nationals logo along with the word Qualifier. Super Nationals Stock Car champion earns Midstate Machine built engine

BOONE, Iowa – Midstate Machine builds the engine that goes home with the Stock Car champion crowned at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Ca­sey’s. IMCA and event sponsors will contribute parts. Midstate Machine of Des Moines again donates the labor to award to the winner of the Sept. 11 main event at Boone Speedway. “It’s cool that they get an engine,” said Midstate’s John Davis. “We’re glad to be part of this.”  Contributing parts are Speedway Motors, EQ Cylinder Heads, Edelbrock, Kevko, JE Pistons, Champ Pans, Summit, Comp Cams, Manley and PBM. Super Nationals Modified, Hobby, SportMod champions earn Karl Kustoms crate engines

BOONE, Iowa – Three of the champions crowned at the upcoming IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s celebrate their accomplishments with new crate engines.  Karl Kustoms presents a new GM 604 crate engine to the Modified champion and new GM 602 crate engines to Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod champions on Saturday, Sept. 11 in the infield at Boone Speedway. Nominations sought for honorary starters on Sept. 11

BOONE, Iowa – The three honorary starters for Sept. 11 Modified last-chance races during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s will be chosen to represent the many American heroes who put their own lives on the line.   IMCA fans and drivers are asked to submit nominations of military and law enforcement personnel, firefighters and First Responders to wave the green flag for the start of those Saturday afternoon events at Boone Speedway. Letters or emails of nomination should be 500 words or less and tell about the nominee and their service to country and community. Reserved tickets on sale now for Sept. 10, 11 Super Nationals programs

BOONE, Iowa – The hottest ticket in town is for Friday and Saturday, Sept. 10 and 11 reserved main grandstand seating at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Those tickets are $75 each and will be sold based on the seating chart that accompanies this story: Reserved ticket order forms should be mailed to Super Nationals, c/o Boone Speedway, 31473 Ute Avenue in Waukee, Iowa, 50263.
