Aug. 23 is deadline for Super Nationals pit stall reservations

BOONE, Iowa – Pit stall reservations for the 37th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s must be made by noon on Friday, Aug. 23. Modified, Stock Car, Hobby Stock and Northern SportMod drivers must be pre-entered before they make pit stall reservations. Pit stalls at Boone Speedway are $100 and must be reserved online. In the event a driver does not show up as scheduled, their pit stall will be issued to another driver.  A waiting list will be started for overflow and drivers who cannot be accommodated will receive refunds. Super Tuesday arrives, All-Star voting begins

VINTON, Iowa – It’s Super Tuesday and Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational voting is underway. Twenty-eight of the 30 IMCA Modified drivers to start the All-Star race, to be held Sept. 6 at Boone Speedway during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s, will be elected today. All ballots will be cast the IMCA Facebook page with the electronic polls open until 9 p.m. CST. “The All-Star Invitational is a fan favorite and one of our most prestigious races. Last-minute campaigns underway for Super Tuesday IMCA Fast Shafts All-Star voting

VINTON, Iowa (July 29) – IMCA Modified candidates have today to do last-minute campaigning before Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballots are cast.  Twenty-eight of the 30 drivers starting the All-Star Invitational will be elected on Super Tuesday tomorrow, July 30: All voting will be through the IMCA Facebook page with the electronic polls open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. CST.  The top three vote recipients from each of the five Modified regions are guaranteed starting spots, with their region of candidacy determined by where they made the majority of their IMCA sanctioned starts. The next 13 drivers with the highest vote totals, regardless of region, become All-Stars.  Completing the field will be drivers with the top national point total and with the most 40-point feature wins as of Aug. 29 competing at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. IMCA’s best Modified drivers battle in Harris Auto Racing Race of Champions

BOONE, Iowa – It’s been one of the biggest Modified races on the IMCA schedule for more than three decades.  And Jason Wolla will return to Boone Speedway in September, looking to defend his Harris Auto Racing Race of Champions title on the biggest stage in all of dirt track racing.  The 31st annual Harris Race of Champions matches 12 of IMCA’s best Modified drivers in a 12-lap contest on Saturday, Sept. 7, the final day of the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Duffers tee off in 30th annual golf tourney

BOONE, Iowa – Golfers of all abilities will drive, chip and putt for a good cause at the 30th annual Duffers National Tournament.  Tee times are 8:30-9 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 6 for the four-person best shot tournament, to be held at the Cedar Pointe Golf Course. Each team is required to have at least one IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s participant.  Cost is $40 per person, which includes nine holes of golf, a golf cart and lunch, and entries will be taken right up until tee time. The winning foursome earns $200 with $100 paid to the second place team. Remaining proceeds go to Shop With A Cop, which sees youngsters accompanied local law enforcement officers to pick out Christmas presents at Wal-Mart.  Entry forms for the 2019 tourney are available in the Super Nationals section at www.imca.com or available by calling tournament director Rich Lange at 515 432-1679. Warrior nominations sought for honorary starters of last-chance Modified features

BOONE, Iowa – IMCA drivers and fans are asked to Nominate A Warrior as an honorary starter for each of the three last-chance Modified features on Saturday, Sept. 7 during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.  Current or former service members are eligible and letters or emails of nomination should be 500 words or less and tell about the nominee and their service to our country.  Nominations should be directed to Marketing Director Kevin Yoder at the IMCA home office or kyoder@imca.com. “We enjoy this opportunity to honor those who have or are currently serving our country in the armed forces,” Yoder said. “Super Nationals is our biggest event and it is a privilege for us to recognize them on championship day at Boone Speedway.” All three honorary starters will be recognized that afternoon when officials from Casey’s General Store and IMCA present a check to Hope For The Warriors.

BOONE, Iowa – For the seventh straight year, Casey’s General Store and IMCA will give back to men and women of the armed services who have given so much. Representatives of Hope For The Warriors will attend the Saturday, Sept. 7 race program at Boone Speedway, during the 37th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Ankeny-based Casey’s General Stores, the presenting sponsor for Super Nationals, donates $10 for each heat race won by a Modified, Late Model, Stock Car, Hobby Stock, Northern SportMod or Sport Compact driver displaying a Casey’s decal between Sept. 2 and Sept. 6.  IMCA matches the amount given by Casey’s. The official convenience store of IMCA, Casey’s has supported Hope For The Warriors with previ­ous fundraisers that include donations made at Super Nationals every year since 2013 that now total $30,000. Bound for Boone: Super Nationals experience is Sept. 2-7

BOONE, Iowa – Taking care of what some people might consider little things will make it a better week for all involved at the biggest event on the IMCA calendar. The IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s is primed for a Sept. 2-7 run at Boone Speedway. Two hundred and fifty drivers have already registered electronically, part of the pro­cess designed to streamline the 37th annual event. “Registration is very important. Purchasing an IMCA license if you have not done so is important. All voting will be done through the IMCA Facebook page, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. CST.
