Booneshine is coming back to Boone for 40th annual IMCA Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa (2022) – Booneshine makes its triumphant and much anticipated return to Boone Speedway and the 40th annual IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.  The popular methanol moonshine originated in Australia, is distilled at Century Farms Distillery in Spencer and made its first September appearance at Iowa’s Action Track last year. The 33 Modified drivers and now 30 Stock Car drivers qualifying for their respective Big Dances on Saturday night receive commemorative bottles of Booneshine, featuring a photo of their iconic three-wide starts and labeled specific to their individual starting positions.  Methanol Moonshine co-creator Wade Aunger is returning from Down Under to help with announcing and IMCA.TV reporting duties at Super Nationals. Inaugural $2,500 to win King of the Katwalks for IMCA Stock Cars set for June 25 at Boone

BOONE, Iowa (June 14, 2022) – IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars will run for $2,500 to win at the Fox Welding/Vermeer King of the Katwalks presented by VanEaton Pork on Saturday, June 25 at Boone Speedway. Total purse for the inaugural special is nearly $14,000 with the winner becoming eligible to qualify for the B & B Racing Chassis All-Star Invitational. The runner-up earns $2,000 with $1,500 paid for third, $1,000 for fourth, $750 for fifth, $500 for sixth, $450 for seventh, $400 for eighth, $350 for ninth, $300 for 10th and a minimum of $250 to start. Park Jefferson’s inaugural IMCA SportMod Horsepower Nationals pay $5,000 to win

JEFFERSON, S.D. Anderson takes tall trophy, big check from Hancock County’s IMCA SportMod Nationals

BRITT, Iowa (June 13, 2022) – Logan Anderson has a tall trophy and a big check to show for his first-ever visit to Hancock County Speedway. Anderson took over the front spot following a lap nine restart, then ran away from the field in winning the 30-lap Landus Cooperative IMCA SportMod Nationals and $2,500 Monday night at Britt. The last 15 laps of the Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMod main event stayed green. Tenth starting and defending race winner Matt Looft was second and Josh Appel ended in third. “It’s exciting to go to a new track. It’s cool, especially when it’s $2,500 and you win,” Anderson said after finding room in the trailer for that trophy for the 2-1/2 hour tow home to Eddyville. “I didn’t hot lap before I started on the pole and won the first heat. Weekly racing, Benton County Fair highlight busy week at The Bullring

VINTON, Iowa (June 14, 2022) – A full schedule is in store for race fans at Benton County Speedway. Weekly racing on Sunday, plus opening night of the Benton County Fair Thursday will offer a double-dose of oval track action. Prior to Benton County Fair festivities, IMCA weekly racing will continue on Father’s Day Sunday, June 19. Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds presented by KISS Country 96.5, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars presented by Vermedahl Logistics, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods presented by Christie Door Company, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts, and INEX Legends presented by Legends.Direct will all be back in action Sunday. Weekly racing will also kick off grandstand entertainment for the Benton County Fair Thursday, June 23. Johnson sprints to Arlington checkers

ARLINGTON, Minn. (June 11, 2022) – Saturday’s IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Car feature at Arlington Raceway went flag to flag with Bill Johnson leading from his pole position and finding himself the winner after having motor troubles the first night of the season which sidelined him for a few weeks.  Mike Stien, who started ninth, moved through the field and took second ahead of Brandon Buysse.  Cory Probst is on a mission this year as he has won every IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock feature thus far at Arlington. He started 10th and by lap three he was in third. Scott Porter had the early lead but later drove into the pit with troubles.  Probst and Cory Black then battled for the lead and a caution came out when the 16R spun out. That gave Probst the opportunity he was looking for as he got by Black on the restart and never looked back, going on to win the race. 33rd IMCA Dakota Classic Tour primed for July 9-14 run

MANDAN, N.D. ­(June 13, 2022) – The 33rd annual Corral Sales IMCA Dakota Classic Modified Tour powered by Industrial Electric has made a few changes to its format but the core mission of the Tour, to bring the best from IMCA to North Dakota each July, remains the same.  Grant Oskvig will be the new tour flagman and IMCA.TV will be live streaming all six nights of the tour. All tracks have agreed to start at 7 p.m. for the first time and once again, IMCA rules will be used at all tracks in both the Friesen Performance IMCA Modified and IMCA Sunoco Stock Car divisions. The series starts its six-night consecutive run on Saturday, July 9 at the quarter-mile, high-banked Jamestown Speedway. They have pit parking for over 300 vehicles and camping right next to the track. Minot and Nodak Speedway host round two on Sunday, July 10.
