VINTON, Iowa (Aug. 6, 2026) — For more than a decade, Casey’s has been more than the presenting sponsor of the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. The Iowa-based convenience store chain has become woven into the fabric of America’s Racin’ Vacation, supporting racers, fans, and meaningful charitable causes throughout race week at Boone Speedway.
One of the company’s longest-running traditions is its partnership with Hope For The Warriors, a national nonprofit organization that provides assistance to combat-wounded service members, military families, and the families of those killed in action.
Throughout Super Nationals, Casey’s and IMCA turn every heat race into a chance to give back, with this year’s contribution expected to total $5,000. The presentation will be made in front of the grandstand during Championship Saturday, bringing the partnership’s total contributions to nearly $75,000 over the past 14 years.
“Being part of Super Nationals is incredibly special for Casey’s because it brings together two things that define who we are: being part of one of the biggest racing events in the world while staying rooted in the small-town communities we call home,” said Nick Wakefield, who previously worked as a District Manager in the Boone area. “Every year, we welcome fans and drivers from across the country and around the world into our Boone stores, and we’re proud to fuel their race week experience. Just as importantly, our partnership with IMCA and support of Hope For The Warriors allows us to give back in a meaningful way, making this event about more than racing and reinforcing the community values that have always been at the heart of Casey’s.”
Casey’s traces its roots to Boone, where Don Lamberti purchased a service station in 1968 and transformed it into what would become the first Casey’s convenience store. Today, the company has grown to nearly 3,000 locations in 19 states, all while maintaining strong ties to the community where Casey’s was founded and home to one of dirt track racing’s biggest events.
Fans attending Super Nationals this September won’t have to travel far to find a Casey’s, with three locations serving Boone, including one conveniently located just across U.S. Highway 30 from Boone Speedway.
Casey’s presence also extends into the NAPA Fan Zone throughout the week. Drivers participating in each Race of Champions redraw will select a Casey’s pizza box containing a card featuring a pizza with a corresponding number of slices and matching numeral. The number drawn will determine each driver’s starting position for the Race of Champions.
