VINTON, Iowa (July 23, 2026) — One of the most anticipated traditions of America’s Racin’ Vacation returns this September as Midstate Machine will once again provide four brand-new championship engines for the winners of Saturday night’s Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified, Sunoco IMCA Stock Car, Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMod, and Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stock features at the 44th Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

Built by Midstate Machine of Des Moines, Iowa, the engines are assembled using donated components from many of the racing industry’s premier manufacturers and will be presented to each of the four champions following Championship Saturday on Sept. 12 at Boone Speedway.

The presentation of the new engines allows another unique Super Nationals tradition to continue. The race-winning engines from each of the four champions’ cars will be removed and auctioned following the conclusion of Saturday night’s racing in the NAPA Auto Parts Fan Zone. The auction is open to drivers, crew members and race fans, giving attendees the opportunity to own a genuine piece of Super Nationals history.

“We’re honored to continue being part of one of the signature traditions at Super Nationals,” said John Davis of Midstate Machine. “This program wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of the manufacturers who donate components each year. We appreciate every one of them and are proud to help reward four deserving champions.”

This year’s championship engines are being assembled with components donated by EngineQuest, Engine Pro, Manley Performance, JE Pistons, Kevko Racing, Melling Engine Parts, Comp Cams, Edelbrock, ARP, SCE Gaskets, Summit Racing Equipment, Total Seal, Bullet Cams, NAPA Auto Parts, Eagle Specialty Products, Speedway Motors and Isky Racing Cams.

Among the donated components are EngineQuest cylinder heads and blocks, JE and Manley pistons and crankshafts, Eagle connecting rods, Speedway Motors engine components, Bullet Cams and Comp Cams camshafts and valvetrain components, Edelbrock intake manifolds and water pumps, Kevko oil pans and valve covers, Melling oil pumps and lifters, ARP fasteners, SCE Gaskets sealing packages, Total Seal piston rings, Summit Racing Equipment engine components, NAPA Auto Parts ignition and lubrication products, and numerous additional premium parts supplied by the participating manufacturers.

The 44th Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s will be held Sept. 5-12 at Boone Speedway in Boone, Iowa. Throughout the week, the NAPA Auto Parts Fan Zone serves as the hub of activity, hosting redraws, driver meet-and-greets, autograph opportunities and other fan-friendly events each evening.
