VINTON, Iowa (July 27, 2026) — The Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational eligibility list continued to grow throughout July as several drivers secured their first qualifying victories of the season. Already-eligible competitors also remained busy, collecting additional qualifying wins at major specials, touring events, and weekly races across all five IMCA Modified regions.
Drivers become eligible by winning IMCA-sanctioned events paying $1,000 or more to win, earning a place on the eligibility list to attempt to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational, held during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s in September at Boone Speedway.
Already eligible drivers continued to add to their qualifying totals throughout late June and July. Tom Berry Jr. collected four victories during the Dakota Classic Modified Tour, winning July 5 at Nodak Speedway, July 6 at Estevan Motor Speedway, and July 8-9 at Dacotah Speedway to increase his season total to six. Cole Czarneski added victories during the tour at Jamestown Speedway on July 10 and with the Salute To Veterans Tour at Clay County Fair Speedway on July 22, bringing his total to five.
Jordan Grabouski earned his fifth qualifier of the season July 16 at Shelby County Speedway, while Matt Sanders also reached five with his Frank Brewer Memorial G-60 Classic victory July 25 at Cottage Grove Speedway. Brandon Beckendorf added his fourth qualifier July 24 at Murray County Speedway, Drew Janssen earned his fourth during the Midwest Madness Tour’s Ron Little Memorial at Stuart Speedway on July 2, and Jared Maupin collected his fourth Southern Touring IMCA Modified Series victory July 25 at Cotton Bowl Speedway.
Jake McBirnie increased his total to four with victories July 4 and July 25 at Boone Speedway, the latter coming during the Salute To Veterans Tour. Braxton Yeager earned his third qualifier during the Ken Hansen Memorial Shootout finale at Sweetwater Speedway on July 4, while Travis Hagen added his third July 24 at Estevan Motor Speedway. Jeremy Mills reached three qualifier victories with wins July 10 at Hancock County Speedway and July 23 at Kossuth County Speedway during the Salute To Veterans Tour.
Russ Reinwald added back-to-back July victories at 141 Speedway on July 11 and July 18 to bring his total to three. Spencer Diercks also reached three with wins July 15 at West Liberty Raceway and July 16 at Bloomfield Speedway. Casey Tasker added his third qualifier July 25 at Crystal Motor Speedway, Izac Mallicoat earned his third during Mods for Mindy at Highway 39 Speedway on July 3, and Dakota Sproul increased his total to three with a Midwest Madness Tour victory at Park Jefferson Speedway on June 30 and a July 10 win at WaKeeney Speedway.
Several other already eligible drivers added another qualifying victory. Benji LaCrosse won July 17 at 141 Speedway, Brody Hose won July 25 at Merritt Speedway, Casey Smith earned another victory July 11 at Crystal Motor Speedway, and Collen Winebarger captured the Modified Nationals at Grays Harbor Raceway on July 18. Dylon Waldvogel won July 21 at Eagle River Speedway, Johnny Whitman added a July 25 victory at 141 Speedway, and Tyler Bannister’s June 27 McGowan Memorial victory at Bakersfield Speedway increased his qualifying total to two.
Fourteen drivers earned their first qualifying victories during July. Ty Clemens won both nights of Fastest In The Falls at Electric City Speedway on July 3-4, while Ricky Thornton Jr. earned victories during the Tanner Pelster Memorial at Boone County Raceway on July 12 and the Joey Hergott Memorial at Beatrice Speedway on July 13.
Other first-time July qualifiers included Michael Hale during the opening night of the Ken Hansen Memorial Shootout at Sweetwater Speedway on July 3, Dustin Huehl at Salina Speedway on July 4, Lane Zerbin at Skagit Speedway on July 4, Eric Mass during the .38 Special at Black Hills Speedway on July 10, and Mike Petersilie at Salt City Racing on July 10.
Eddie Kirchoff earned eligibility during the .38 Special at Gillette Thunder Speedway on July 11, Austin Petray won at Southern Oregon Speedway on July 11, and Marcus Yarie collected his first qualifier at Shawano Speedway on July 11. Jayden Schmidt won July 17 at Outagamie Speedway, Doug Stack Jr. captured the Billy Maynard Memorial with the NY-Penn IMCA Modified Series at The Hill Speedway on July 17, and Mitchell Hunt won July 18 at Merritt Speedway. Kody Scholpp joined the eligibility list by winning the Prairie Dirt Nationals at Estevan Motor Speedway on July 25.
Three late June qualifying winners also joined the eligibility list. Colby Fett earned his qualifying victory during the June 29 Midwest Madness Tour event at Clay County Fair Speedway, while Wyatt Block qualified June 30 at Eagle River Speedway.
A busy August schedule continues across all five IMCA Modified regions.
In the Razor Chassis North Central Region, Iowa hosts qualifiers at Benton County Speedway’s Mike Benson & Scott Beauregard Memorial and the John Dubuque Classic at Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway on Aug. 2, Buena Vista Raceway on Aug. 5, Kossuth County Speedway’s Harken Memorial on Aug. 6 and another qualifier on Aug. 13, Marshalltown Speedway on Aug. 18, Maquoketa Speedway on Aug. 21 and 22, and Boone Speedway’s Watermelon Classic on Aug. 29.
Minnesota features Murray County Speedway on Aug. 21 and Worthington Speedway on Aug. 15. North Dakota hosts McLean County Speedway’s Coal County Classic on Aug. 7 and 8 and the Monte Lundy Memorial at Nodak Speedway on Aug. 16. Wisconsin includes 141 Speedway on Aug. 1, 8, 14, 15, 22, and 29, and Shawano Speedway on Aug. 22.
In the Jet Racing Central Region, Arkansas hosts qualifiers at Batesville Motor Speedway on Aug. 14 and 15. Kansas features Rooks County Speedway on Aug. 7, Salt City Racing on Aug. 21, and Salina Speedway on Aug. 22.
In the GRT Race Cars South Central Region, Texas hosts the Southern Touring IMCA Modified Series at Texana Raceway Park on Aug. 8 and Grayson County Speedway on Aug. 22.
In the DeVilbiss Racing Chassis Western Region, Nevada’s Lovelock Speedway hosts a qualifier on Aug. 1. New Mexico’s Aztec Speedway races on Aug. 1, 18, and 19. Oregon features Southern Oregon Speedway on Aug. 8 and 14 before the Legends of Dirt Modified Shootout on Aug. 15. Washington State hosts Skagit Speedway on Aug. 1 and 29. Wyoming’s Cowboy Challenge will be at Sheridan Speedway on Aug. 7 and 8.
In the Close Racing Supply Eastern Region, Michigan features Crystal Motor Speedway on Aug. 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29, Merritt Speedway on Aug. 15, Mt. Pleasant Speedway on Aug. 7, and I-96 Speedway on Aug. 14. New York hosts the Gary Roberts Tribute with the NY-Penn IMCA Series at Afton Motorsports Park on Aug. 8 and Woodhull Raceway on Aug. 11. Pennsylvania features The Hill Speedway on Aug. 7 and the NY-Penn IMCA Series at Penn Can Speedway on Aug. 16.
