ARLINGTON, Minn. (July 11, 2026) — Ninety race teams braved warm temperatures Saturday night at Arlington Raceway, where Trevor Serbus continued his dominance of the Dan Grams Memorial by winning the RaceSaver IMCA Sprint Car feature for the sixth consecutive year.
After qualifying for the Pole Shuffle through his heat race, Serbus worked his way to the No. 1 starting position by posting the quickest laps against each challenger.
Come feature time, the Olivia driver continued that dominance, leading all 20 laps to capture his sixth straight Dan Grams Memorial victory. Serbus collected the $1,000 winner’s prize along with an additional $150 for winning the Pole Shuffle.
Matt Johnson finished second, Bill Johnson charged from ninth to third, Hunter Hanson came home fourth, and Trevor Smith advanced from 11th to complete the top five.
Mackenthun Holds Off Looft in Stock Car Thriller
The Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars once again featured the night’s largest field with 19 entries.
Ryan Grochow led the opening 10 laps before Curt Lund mounted a charge to the front on lap 10. A caution shortly afterward reset the field, allowing Dan Mackenthun to find the moisture on the bottom groove and power past Lund for the lead.
Matthew Looft, who started 12th, quickly closed the gap over the final laps, but Mackenthun held him off to earn his seventh EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory of the season, with three of those wins coming at Arlington Raceway.
Looft stormed from 12th to second, Lund finished third, Daniel Eckblad advanced from 11th to fourth and Brent Uecker completed the top five.
Looft Charges to Modified Victory
J.J. Reimers led the opening two laps of the Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature before fifth-starting Matthew Looft found grip along the bottom groove to take command.
From there, the Swea City, Iowa, driver steadily built his advantage en route to his third Razor Chassis North Central Region victory of the season. All three of Looft’s regional wins have come at Arlington Raceway.
Dan Menk finished second, Clint Hatlestad was third, Reimers slipped to fourth after leading the opening laps, and Joe Roberts completed the top five.
Larson Charges Around Carter in SportMod Feature
Jeff Carter grabbed the early lead from the front row and paced the opening nine laps of the Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMod feature before Eric Larson raced around the cushion to take command on lap 10.
Ben Reierson followed Larson to the front as Larson drove away for his seventh victory of the season, fourth at Arlington Raceway and fifth in 2026 for the Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods.
Reierson charged from eighth to finish second, Carter settled for third after leading the early laps, Cole Hesse finished fourth and Alexander Barnes completed the top five. Justin Daschner also turned in a strong drive, advancing from 10th to seventh.
Probst Powers to Hobby Stock Victory
Jonathan Schroeder raced from the third row to the early lead before Corey Probst took over on lap eight.
Probst pulled away over the closing laps to collect his fourth B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region victory of the season, with three of those wins coming at Arlington Raceway.
Schroeder held on for second, Austin Jahnz advanced from seventh to third, Taylor Manderfield finished fourth and Chad Volk charged from ninth to complete the top five.
Schumacher Holds Off Gatton in Sport Compact Feature
Gary Schumacher grabbed the lead on the opening lap of the Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compact feature before last week’s winner, Dale Gatton, applied pressure throughout the race.
The Maplewood driver held on to earn his fifth victory of the season, with four of those wins coming at Arlington Raceway.
Gatton finished second ahead of Mason Berger, Alan Lahr and Aaron Krienke.
