EAGLE RIVER, Wis. (July 7, 2026) — Dustin White withstood a flurry of cautions and a furious late-race challenge from former track champion Rod Snellenberger to score a thrilling Sunoco IMCA Stock Car victory Tuesday night at Eagle River Speedway.

The hometown driver started third and patiently tracked early leader Mitch Stankowski through a series of early cautions before making his move on lap six to take command.

Snellenberger, the all-time winningest IMCA Stock Car driver in Wisconsin history, started fifth and carved his way into second by lap eight. He closed the gap on White by lap 13, setting up an intense battle for the lead over the closing laps.

The pair traded the top spot several times before a restart with five laps remaining gave Snellenberger an opportunity to slip underneath White and briefly seize the lead. White answered immediately, rallying back to reclaim the top spot and holding off one final charge to earn the victory.

The win was White’s third of the 2026 season in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region, with all three victories coming at Eagle River Speedway.

Snellenberger settled for second after the thrilling duel, while Stankowski completed the podium in third. Mark Eswein finished fourth, with Dave Bouche rounding out the top five.

Snellenberger Snags Eagle River Speedway $1,000 Payday

(Jul. 1, 2025) — Rod Snellenberger of Pulaski, the 2008 Sunoco IMCA Stock Car National champion and defending Eagle River Speedway track champion, passed Junior Karcz for the lead on lap eight and held off hometown driver Jason Zdroik to win the $1,000-to-win feature Tuesday during the Mark Zdroik Memorial. The victory marked Snellenberger’s fourth EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region win of 2025, his third at Eagle River this season, and the 232nd of his IMCA Stock Car career. Dave Bouche jumped into the lead from his pole position at the drop of the green of the 20 lap contest. Bouche mixed it up with Karcz in the first few circuits until a caution flew when Wausau’s Mitch Stankowski stalled on the frontstretch. On the restart, Cole Czarneski blasted into the second spot, and a three car dual ensued for the lead between Bouche, Czarneski and Snellenberger. Bounty On IMCA Stocker Snellenberger at Eagle River Speedway on August 5

(Aug. 2, 2025) — Eagle River Speedway has placed a bounty on Wisconsin’s winningest Sunoco IMCA Stock Car driver – Pulaski’s “Hot Rod” Snellenberger – for the Tuesday, August 5 show at the Northwoods third-mile clay oval. Snellenberger, a two-time track champion at ERS, is undefeated this season with six feature wins in six appearances. Any IMCA Stock Car driver who can beat him on August 5 will receive a $300 bonus through the bounty. And that amount could increase before race night. To collect the bounty, Snellenberger must be running competitively and on the lead lap when the checkered flag flies. The track will use IMCA’s weekly point average system, so Snellenberger will likely start deep in the field — along with any out-of-town challengers looking to claim the bonus.
