EAGLE RIVER, Wis. (June 30, 2026) — Wyatt Block of Tigerton fought off a late charge from Will Garceau to win Tuesday night’s 20-lap Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature at Eagle River Speedway, earning his first victory of the season in the Razor Chassis North Central Region.

Block, who started from the pole, led all 20 laps and survived several caution periods in the IMCA Modified division’s debut at the third-mile clay oval.

Marcus Yarie of Wausau applied heavy pressure through the opening half of the race, with Block committed to the low groove while Yarie searched for speed inches from the outside wall.

Garceau, from Francis Creek, started 12th and carved his way through the field before taking second from Yarie. He closed rapidly on Block during the closing laps as the leader negotiated lapped traffic, but Block maintained his advantage to secure the $1,000 victory.

Block’s victory earned him eligibility to attempt to qualify for the Fast Shafts All-Star Modified Invitational, to be held during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s in September at Boone Speedway.

Garceau finished second, followed by Yarie, Cody Apfelbeck, and Dylon Waldvogel.

Snellenberger Scores Third Stock Car Win of Season

Former track champion Rod “Hot Rod” Snellenberger of Pulaski grabbed the lead on a lap four restart and held off veteran John Heinz of Green Bay to win the 20-lap Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature.

The event was slowed by three caution flags, but Snellenberger never relinquished the top spot once he took command.

The victory was his third IMCA Stock Car win of the season and his second in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region, with his last two victories both coming at Eagle River Speedway.

Heinz finished second, while Dustin White, Mitch Stankowski and Jason Zdroik completed the top five.
