Race of Champions eligible drivers register in large numbers for 44th IMCA Super Nationals

BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 4, 2026) – Qualifying fields for five Race of Champions events have been set for the 44th annual Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s.

All track champions (or current point leaders if their respective points battles resume after Super Nationals), along with past national champions, regional champions, Super Nationals champions, Race of Champions champions and 2025 state champions who pre-registered for Super Nationals are eligible to attempt to qualify for their respective RoC in 2026.

The 52 RAGE Chassis IMCA Modified Race of Champions drivers eligible to qualify are Chris Abelson, Jeff Aikey, Bubba Alvarado, Chaz Baca, Tyler Bannister, Curtis Barnes, Jason Barnhill, Austen Becerra, Brandon Beckendorf, Tyler Belcher, Cole Bents, Tom Berry Jr., Ethan Braaksma, Troy Cordes, Zane DeVilbiss, Jerry Flippo, William Gould, Richie Gustin, Shawn Harker, Clint Hatlestad, Kollin Hibdon, Mitchell Hunt, Trey Kline, Cody Laney, Jeff Larson, Matthew Looft, Jared Maupin, Dan Menk, R.J. The 13 Stealth Racing Mod Lite Race of Champions eligible drivers are Randy Bryan, Ronnie Choate, Riley Clem, Zack Forster, Austin Gray, Benjamin Gunnels, Scott Jordan, Josh May, Mike Morrow, Jon Padilla, Taylor Pollock, Dillon Raffurty and Bryan Zehm.

Morris, Thornton score final Modified qualifying feature wins

BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 6, 2024) – Troy Morris III and Dylan Thornton had IMCA Modified fans all the way from California on their feet Friday night. Morris, from Bakersfield, led a top four of Tanner Black, 23rd starting Brett Berry and Joel Rust to the outside row of Saturday’s IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s Big Dance at Boone Speedway, in a slug fest of a first qualifying feature. Kohl, Smith are winners while Burg puts on Hobby Stock show

BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 3, 2024) – Jason Kohl and Mike Smith won the qualifying features and front row starting spots that come with them while Keith Burg was the show Tuesday night at Boone Speedway. Kohl’s win in the first Hobby Stock qualifier puts him at the front of the middle row in Saturday’s main event at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s. Two-time and defending champion Smith topped the nightcap and will start on the front of the outside row. Improbable, unlikely, incredible! Donavon Smith is Stock Car king

BOONE, Iowa (Sept. 13) – Donavon Smith had the best seat in the house to watch as the improba­ble became the incredible Sunday afternoon at Boone Speedway. A last-chance qualifier earlier in the day, Smith raced from 25th starting to take the lead with two laps left in the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s Stock Car main event. When those two laps were complete, Smith had a career-best $5,000 payday and career third Super Nationals championship to show for his day’s work behind the wheel.  “We had showed up Sunday morning just hoping to make the main event.
