VINTON, Iowa (May 28, 2026) — More drivers were added to the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car eligibility list for the B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational following May competition, while additional wins by already eligible drivers continued to strengthen an already deep field as tracks across the country settled into the 2026 season.
Drivers become eligible by winning IMCA-sanctioned events paying $1,000 or more to win, earning the opportunity to attempt to qualify for the invitational, held during the Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s in September at Boone Speedway. Winners of events paying $5,000 or more are guaranteed starting positions in the invitational.
Already eligible drivers in the EQ Cylinder Heads Southern Region continued to add to their totals in May, with Paul Stone capturing the Kris Mancebo Memorial at Thunderbowl Raceway on May 15.
Drivers earning their first qualifying victories of the season in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region included Braden Richards, who won April 28 at Independence Motor Speedway, Dillon Solum with his April 29 victory at Stuart Speedway during the Dynamic Drivelines Dirt Duel, Jayce Reimer on May 8 at Salt City Racing, Brett Wenzel at Shawano Speedway on May 16, Nick Buckarma during the Nathan Bouche Memorial at 141 Speedway on May 23, and Buck Schafroth during the Whole Hog 50 at Stuart Speedway on May 24.
In the Southern Region, Blake Clark earned eligibility with a victory May 2 at Southern Oklahoma Speedway.
A busy June schedule is on tap across the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region.
Iowa opens the month with the IMCA Summer Nationals at Independence Motor Speedway on June 2 and 3. The June 3 finale pays $5,000 to win, meaning the winner will earn an automatic starting position in the B&B Racing Chassis All-Star Stock Car Invitational in addition to eligibility. Kossuth County Speedway follows on June 4, with Buena Vista Raceway hosting on June 10. Hancock County Speedway hosts qualifiers on June 12 and again on June 26, while Marshalltown Speedway races on June 19. Boone Speedway hosts the Harris Clash on June 23, with Clay County Fair Speedway joining the Midwest Madness Tour on June 29.
South Dakota’s Shelby County Speedway hosts a qualifier on June 6, while Park Jefferson Speedway anchors a major stretch of the month with the Dave Riley Memorial on June 14 before hosting the Midwest Madness Tour on June 30.
Kansas hosts a pair of qualifiers with Salina Speedway on June 6 and Dodge City Raceway Park on June 20.
Minnesota tracks include McLean County Speedway’s McLean County Fair special on June 13, Worthington Speedway’s Midwest Madness Tour event on June 28, and Norman County Raceway on June 30.
