The Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks once again produced one of the most entertaining races of the night.

Kyler Satran led the opening laps before Minot’s Caden Appelt used a slingshot move off the cushion exiting turn two to grab the lead with 12 laps remaining.

Appelt then held off repeated challenges from Alan Bertsch on the bottom groove to secure his fourth straight Nodak Speedway victory of the season and fourth B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region triumph overall.

Appelt charged from 12th to win while Bertsch advanced from ninth to second. Saskatchewan’s Cash Saxon climbed from 11th to third while Satran held on for fourth. Tyson Grinstead completed the top five after moving up from 13th.

Wolla Uses Restart to Capture Modified Victory

The Karl Kustoms IMCA Modified feature saw Shawn Strand dominate the opening 15 laps before a late restart changed the complexion of the race.

Jason Wolla, from Ray, capitalized on the opportunity by slipping around Strand following the restart and drove away over the final 10 circuits to earn his first Razor Chassis North Central Region victory of the season.

Wolla started sixth while Brady Bjella advanced from eighth to finish second. Strand settled for third ahead of Steven Pfeifer in fourth. Dalton Flory completed a strong run from 13th to fifth.

Minot’s Rob Stenvold led every lap of the Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature to secure his first EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region victory of 2026.

Chris Tuchscherer finished second while Beeter advanced from ninth to third. Deschamp charged from 10th to fourth and Will Scheresky rounded out the top five.
