COLUMBUS JUNCTION, Iowa (May 1, 2026) — Dalton Weepie was in action for the second week in a row in the Sunoco IMCA Hobby Stocks, and when the checkered flag fell, the youngster made his first-ever trip to CJ Speedway victory lane. The Dunkerton native earned his first win of the year in the B&B Racing Chassis Northern Region with a hard-fought victory ahead of Daniel Wauters and Randy Lamar. Austin Stalder was fourth, and Ryan Havel finished fifth.
Sigourney’s Nathan Wood once again proved he will be a man to be reckoned with at CJ Speedway in 2026. Wood scored his second consecutive Sunoco IMCA Stock Car feature win on Friday night, giving him two wins in the EQ Cylinder Heads Northern Region this season. Norman Bean ran a strong race to finish second ahead of Kirk Kinsley. Austin O’Donnell was fourth at the line, followed by Justin Becker.
A first-time CJ winner in the Karl Kustoms IMCA Northern SportMods was Justin Schroeder, who made the long tow from Low Moor. Schroeder rode the top side to his first win of the year ahead of Tyler Heckart and last week’s winner Cole VanDerwal. Justin Heuer was fourth, and Joel Payne completed the top five.
The Karl Kustoms IMCA Modifieds saw Eldon’s Blaine Bryant take top honors for his first-ever CJ Speedway win and his first victory of the year in the Razor Chassis North Central Region. Bryant raced to the win ahead of defending track champion Kurt Kile. Spencer Diercks wound up third, followed by Adam Shelman and Charlie Mohr.
